Thank god for this studio…read more I "retired" from dance and gymnastics about 5 years ago or so. I was always nervous to go back. Afraid I was too old. Afraid I wouldn't be good enough anymore. Afraid I wouldn't have time etc. etc. This place is so welcoming. It really has a family feel. A lot of the kids, adults and teachers have been there for years and they are more then open to allowing others join the fam : ) I feel good about myself because of the encouragement I have received from Nichole and Byron (tumbling and jazz teachers) They are fun and make coming after a long day of work exciting for me. It's nice to feel that I have nothing to be afraid of anymore, a lot in due part to the environment, schedule and variety of classes offered.

Cathy and Marcella, who teach the small fitness classes, are amazing and the best cheerleaders you could ask for! I also love the sense of community and seeing the same friendly faces every week while becoming stronger and feeling better about myself. The instructors are always checking your form during the exercises and make sure you get the most out of your workout. They also tailor the exercises to your strength or any limitations you may have. Having an owner who is -la physical therapist is a huge plus for a gym and you can tell based on the instructors he chooses. For me personally I couldn't have asked for a better gym after years of not working out. I highly recommend Fit Studio Danville!
