The location is perfect right in the heart of downtown, surrounded by history and that small town charm Woodland is known for. You walk in and immediately feel the character of the place. It's not manufactured, it's real, and that matters. The atmosphere is on point. It balances upscale and relaxed in a way that works whether you're there for a date night, business dinner, or just grabbing a drink. The lounge has great energy and always feels alive without being too much. The food speaks for itself. Consistently high quality, fresh, and well executed. You can tell there's intention behind every dish, not just going through the motions. For the level of quality you're getting, the value is absolutely there. Service is a big reason this place stands out. Christy is amazing. She genuinely cares, remembers people, and makes sure you're taken care of the right way. It never feels forced, just natural hospitality. This is one of those spots that's become part of Woodland's identity. You see regulars, new faces, families, and business meetings all happening at once. That kind of mix only happens when a place is doing something right. If you're looking for great food, strong atmosphere, real service, and a place that actually represents the community, this is it.

The Cracc's PR was great!!! Warmed up with loads of meat. The flavor combinations were perfect on the pretzel bun. And the sandwich was huge! They make the sandwiches right there for you so it can take a little while if they're busy, but they're so friendly and helpful, they get it out as fast as possible. The market is a great little market. Surprisingly they have great prices on meats. Everyone was really nice and helpful. I'll definitely be back!

So…read moreafter dropping a friend off at the airport, we made our way up to Woodland and ordered sandwiches for lunch. It is a full functioning grocery store so there weren't any tables or places for us to eat our sandwiches there. We ended up taking everything back to my house to eat it for lunch. The service was relatively fast and the ladies working at the deli counter were very friendly. I ordered a Reuben sandwich for my husband and the French dip sandwich for me. My dad ordered the Italian sandwich and we also ordered a side of pasta salad and a side of potato salad to share. When we got back to my house, we dug in. My husband thought the Reuben was decent; not the best he has ever had, but definitely not the worst. I thought my French dip was also just OK; even with the a jus broth to dip it in, it was a little tough to eat. The meat was a little thicker than I would have liked and nothing about it really wowed me. My dad thought the Italian sandwich was decent. All in all, these were pretty average deli sandwiches. Not something I'm sure I would drive all the way to Woodland or go out of my way to get, but if I were more local, worth a visit when a deli sandwich craving strikes.

It has always been one of those dependable local places that feels connected to the community. Even today, when I am in town and want pizza, Steve's is still one of my top choices. The restaurant is clean, the staff has always been kind, and the atmosphere has a comfortable downtown Woodland feel. The location is also very convenient. It is right in downtown Woodland, but there is easy parking in the back, which makes it simple to stop in. After eating, it is also a nice area to walk around. I do miss the cookie company that used to be next door. Pizza and cookies used to be a great combination, but I am glad Steve's Pizza is still here and continuing to serve the community. To be fair, if I were comparing the pizza itself to larger cities with more competition and more variety, I would probably consider it a solid 4 to 4.5. But for Woodland, I give Steve's Pizza 5 stars. You have to take the local market, demand, and options into consideration. Based on that, Steve's continues to deliver a very good and consistent experience. The dough tastes fresh, the ingredients are fresh, and I have always had a positive experience here. Everyone has their own preference when it comes to pizza, but for me, Steve's is one of the best pizza places in Woodland.
