I contacted JM Ridgway about the situation several times without any resolution. Nikki, from JM Ridgway, was rude and unprofessional in every communication even stating she would have other schedulers from other companies to blacklist me if I continued trying to get paid. After receiving Nikki's email, I started contacting Storage of America directly. I contacted headquarters and was hung up on. Called the location and the manager was supposed to have the district manager to call me. I have yet to receive a call back. I need to talk to someone at your location to get paid.

I paid for two 10 X 15 units. Immediately after signing the two contracts, I learned that they…read moreonly had one 10 X 15 unit available. I asked for a refund on one of the units since it was not available. The manager told me I had signed a contract that negates any refund EVEN THOUGH SHE JUST SOLD ME A UNIT THAT WAS NOT AVAILABLE. When I expressed my displeasure, she threatened to cancel BOTH contracts with no refund and she threatened to call the police. This is unbelievable!!! She told me two 10 X 15 units, I signed a contract for two 10 X 15 units, and then she tells me there is only one unit available and REFUSES to refund my money.

The reason I would not recommend this facility is because when I had my whole house in storage…read morethere someone stole everything I had. There were no cameras and no fence and they didnt have insurance. My whole life was in that unit and I had to buy everything again. I had a new tanning bed, washer and dryer, PA speakers, my important files tax return documents, stove and refrigerator, clothes, home decor, ECT.... Everything I owned was in there. All they had to say was I'm sorry and they were a nervous wreck. This was around 17 yrs ago but I have not gave this place a good review since then. They didnt take responsibility for any of it. I wouldn't recommend this facility to anyone. Better chances putting your things on the sude if the road.
