Almost all of the boards are less than 4ft in length. I think we maybe got 10 total boards that were 6ft. The average board was 24-30". Tons of cracks, warped boards, broken tongues and grooves. We were so careful and used those pieces as starters, finishers, and in closets. Even after purchasing 10% extra for expected waste, we almost ran out of usable boards by the end and had to compromise on seams and start putting boards closer together, diminishing the strength and look of the floor. Even with all of that, I would have given a better rating if the floor came out looking how we wanted. Unfortunately, this doesn't even look nice. There is hardly any character, maybe a small knot every 10 or so boards. I also have a sneaking suspicion there is some red oak mixed in. Really disappointed and would not recommend this flooring to anyone.

Red oak hardwood flooring for $1.72 sq ft...BEAUTIFUL...and when you are remodeling a 500sq ft kitchen and dining room, every penny counts. He made it be a fun process for us! They have their showroom where you can select tile, but they also give you the option of coming to your home with tiling samples and do everything from the comfort of your own home, which is what we chose. We wanted to see how the tile looked with the lighting in our bathroom. It feels fun and exclusive to select tile this way! No crowds or other customers to worry about! Also we knew that he'd have to come to measure up our bathrooms for a quote anyway, so this worked out well for us. We felt the quote was reasonably priced, and we went ahead. They are honest, reliable and trustworthy and I had no qualms about having them work in our home if I was not there the whole time. Our actual contractor was Daniel, who did an AMAZING job. You can really tell he takes pride in what he does, he is a perfectionist and a true craftsman. We were thrilled with the result. I would definitely recommend Floor Coverings International.
