I had my second haircut at this place on 26 Jan with barber Ali. That guy just does not enjoy doing…read morehis art (hairstyling/haircut). He spent less than 15 minutes completing the haircut and he checked his phone at least 4 times in between and replied to texts as well. This guy doesn't even know how to run scissors - it was hurting and was visible but he did not think of spraying water so he could cut without causing any pain. While shampooing, he ran water all over my face and didn't even bother to apologize as if he did it intentionally. Anyone who is going to try this for the first time, DO NOT CHOOSE "ALI" as your hairdresser - he just doesn't know anything. I hope the management should consider having a chat with this guy. P.S. Attempts to get an appointment later that day, or the next, to have it fixed up were unsuccessful due to them being overbooked already (perhaps why I was given 5 minutes only to begin with?). Ultimately promised a refund which didn't come. After several followups I am now told there won't be a refund, I'm harassing and a new outrageous story is being told by the owner. Weird situation. He shaved my husband's part SO wide and when he brought up, the hairdresser made excuses that that's how it's supposed to be and it's only because his hair is wet. Mostly young. A lot of bruhs, jocks, and students but a lot of children too. Be advised during peak hours, if you don't have an appointment there can be a long wait for walk-ins. I mean like a 45 minute wait. We don't mind because it's my son's favorite place and he gets a bad-ass cut every time. [I also go next door to Coffee Vanilla and grab a latte, there's also a Starbucks in the Safeway across the street.] Hint: Make appointments for days before long week-ends, holidays, Valentines..you get the drill. Also, I have found you can usually walk right in early mornings mid-week. For the longest time they only took cash. They now can take debit and e-transfer (I think). I've also seen a couple of women getting Fades done, impressive. As for who's the best barber-they're all very good. The last time I took my son one of the "lady barbers" did his fade and she was AMAZING.
