The team went above an beyond the call of duty doing my spring cleanup. I highly recommend Angel and his team, great work guys!

He came and gave us an estimate in the spring and we agreed to it. We didn't haggle the price or try to talk him down. Halfway through the job he said he didn't realize it was SO many leaves he had to clean up (all the trees surrounding our house should have been a clue), Like it's OUR fault he wasn't professional enough to assess the job correctly and ask for more money! Once he did get the leaves up, I sent him a text telling him we would like to hire him again for masonry work. He wasted our time by saying he would come and look and give us and estimate for the work. During the visit he seemed to be trying to deter us from the job, as if we weren't going to pay him enough. He said things like "Oh, but this job is a big job and costs more money!" lol. My husband and I own 3 houses between Middletown, NY and Bronx, NY, we didn't care about how much extra the job would cost and I told him to just give us an estimate, don't worry about price. The next day I get a text from Alejandro saying that he can't do any of our work because he has no time and has other jobs. Okay fine, then why the horse and pony show during the estimate? Why even bother coming to give an estimate if he was overbooked? Thankfully, we found 2 other Landscapers who were overjoyed make some good money for once. When I texted Alejandro to tell him it was okay, that we found someone else who wanted the jobs, he sent me the text I screenshot here. He thinks he did us a FAVOR, when in fact, he just low-balled himself out of making more money. He didn't even FINISH the spring cleaning job, all he did was remove the leaves! He was supposed to trim shrubs, mow lawn, plant some bulbs, and weed the yard!. Had he been business savvy and said "Hey, I'm going to have to charge you an extra $$$ because I underestimated the amount of leaves in your yard", we would have gladly paid him more. But he said nothing until he sent this text to me. When he came to give the estimate for the masonry he also kept telling me how we paid him cash last time (at HIS suggestion so he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it) but this time he would have to charge us tax because he got into trouble because some other client reported his income! Still, I said fine, we will pay whatever tax you want. If he had a REAL staff instead of one (1) person doing everything. He showed up with a woman (probably his poor tired wife), and she worked with him in the yard all day! This man is rude and disrespectful when things don't go his way. Buyer beware - Hire elsewhere! NOTE: He has since shared my personal address AND name on his website in an effort to try an intimidate me because he didn't like my review. I am looking into suing him. He has also posted lies on Google accusing us of animal cruelty (which is a crime), and saying we had animal feces all over the house. This man was NEVER in the house except for the basement & garage to get an estimate on work. He has NO idea what the inside of our home is like. He also said I was Haitian, I never EVER told him this so I'm wondering why he lies so much. Sounds like he stalked my truck and saw a Haiti head rest cover I was given. He also lied on my husband who is a NYC Police Officer. This man is a liar and pure evil. He told lies and then contradicted his own lies. I have the proof. read more
