When I woke up from surgery I realized he didn't even attempt to do the lift. I was shocked and so upset so he offered to take me into his very old office and do a lift in the office chair under local anesthesia a few months later . (The dirty old 1900's office). He removed as much as he could still leaving me with so much skin you could clearly see. After a week he removed those stitches clearly too early and I ended up having a huge open wound with smelly stuff coming out clearly an infection. After months of healing my results are terrible. I have awful scars from that open wound.. so much loose skin.. and all he is offering to do is have ME pay again for him to bring me to the operating room so he can do a full lift since he couldn't in office chair. He said he will give me his services free (clearly cause he knows he didn't do his job) but I have to pay for the room and anesthesia again. WHY WOULD I PAY AGAIN FOR A SURGERY AND A JOB HE DIDN'T PERFORM. He was so rude and disrespectful when I mentioned either getting my lift portion of payment back or having him re do it FOR FREE. . By the way he charged my insurance 35,000 dollars for explant and I paid over 8,000 out of pocket for the lift . You are talking 43,000 for a job he did not preform. Sadly, this term isn't officially recognized by so many doctors, but thankfully Dr. Chatson does and is very compassionate about how it can negatively impact some people's health. At my first post-op appt he showed me pictures of my explanted implants and capsules, per my request. I was thrilled to see he was able to get 100% of my capsules out, (which can cause further health complications if they're not fully removed). Additionally, I also got a lift. I snuck a peak under my compression wrap yesterday, and I have to admit I'm thrilled with the results! They came out even better than I was expecting! He's worth the wait!

In the 75 minutes I have been waiting to see the surgeon I have heard multiple swears from the front desk in both English and Spanish, 4 patients complains about waiting 2 hours or more, and the front desk girl literally berating a patient for asking what a particular form was for... the answer, "If you don't sign it, you can go home"... Bourdeau and staff quickly put those concerns to rest - they comprehensively outlined the treatment protocol, set benchmarks for progress, and were clear and thorough in their instructions for my at-home exercises. I progressed back to full-functionality faster than expected, and (importantly) my surgeon was extremely happy with the result. While I hope to never need their services again, I would absolutely come back here if I do. These guys are fantastic, and I highly (and actively) recommend them.

Saw Dr Poole for possible Sjogren's. He was not helpful. Told me to continue seeing my cornea…read moresurgeon since my eyes were my primary issue. He said I didn't need a biopsy of the salivary gland as the treatment would be the same whether or not I had the disease. He offered me medication for dry mouth but said it would not help my eyes. When I tried to explain the many other subtle symptoms that accompany Sjogren's and told him that my cornea surgeon said he had only seen cases like mine in Sjogren's patients he dismissed the comment. He truly seemed disinterested. Maybe he knew Medicare discounts his fee considerably and thus was just not into delving any deeper into my case. Lab work that I had done prior to the visit was forwarded to him and yet he seemed unable to access it on his laptop. He wanted me to come back next year to "monitor" the situation. NO WAY! Patient care has gone to the wayside. We're an account-not a patient-not a suffering human being. God help us all!

Everything was clearly explained to me and I was more than pleased when she allowed me to see (using the space age equipment she has) the problem and exactly how she was going to repair it.
