We sat in the beautiful parlor visiting then she showed us to the room. Spacious room with king bed and large sun room with a day bed as well. So very comfortable. I think their mattress is probably more comfortable than mine at home. Plenty of hot water quickly for showers. Breakfast was wonderful both mornings. Enjoyed great food and enjoyed visiting with Virginia and Jack both days. Such gracious hosts. Home had beautiful gazebo and porch to relax on enjoyed a relaxing sunny Friday afternoon after hiking Enchanted Rock. If you B and B (and even if you don't) this is the place to stay if you go to Llano. We will definitely be back next time we head up that way

The house has 3 bedrooms, two downstairs with a shared bathroom and one upstairs with a private bath. All rooms are equally beautiful and well-maintained. House was impeccably clean and owner Jim was wonderful and hospitable. Breakfast is brought over the day before so that toy can enjoy the morning on your own pace. The two miniature donkeys on site are cute as can be and they love the carrots you're allowed to fees them. Would definitely stay here again, maybe renting the whole house vs. one room because all rooms may be occupied (in our case) so you will meet with other couples, etc.

You approach the resort by dirt roads, but they are well maintained and no problem for our sedan. The Tesla nav system was accurate. We had no problems getting there and back. Kelly and Brian are excellent hosts. Brian can regale you with many anecdotes from Central Texas history, most of which I had not heard before, even though we've lived in the Lone Star State for 38 years. Our room was quiet, cool, and comfortable. The lobby is also quiet and is a great place to sit and read. There are two very sweet dogs that have the run of the place. We had a lot of fun interacting with them. You can walk the grounds and along the dirt roads with nearly zero traffic. I do recommend sturdy hiking boots, as cockleburrs are plentiful. There are also venomous snakes in this area, although we did not see any. Better safe than sorry. We will certainly return. No staff onsite. This caused an issue when some items were sparse on the breakfast bar, and the key lock box would not open. It took 45 minutes to find and get someone on site to open the keys to our room.

This is more similar to an AirBnB than the traditional having to wake up early and share a meal with strangers situation. You can walk anywhere you want to go in this town from Flossies, which i love when vacationing...across the square to the distillery, restaurants...then a quick walk to parks, the river, and a cool bridge. I have no idea what the previous owners were like, and there was only 1 review posted here and none during the new ownership,so I was hesitant, but I went on a whim due to cabin fever and am happy to say that it was a wonderful experience.
