I would give this place negative stars. They are overall just a pain to go to. I hit a pot hole in…read moremy car and it unaligned my car. I took it through AAA insurance since this is a place they send cars to which I will be talking to them about. Well the price ended up being less than my deductible which was good but they themselves said that since there is no visual damage and it passed inspection there is nothing else they can do. There is a huge clunk that happens when I turn the car on the freeway and they said that's the best they can do so I have to take it to the dealership on my end. If they can't fix the car completely why give it a mediocre try and bill me and send me somewhere else? Shouldn't a mechanic be able to fix it rather than sending it to another mechanic? I also had Fatima as my representative there and I would not recommend her. I had to be continuously calling her to get any sort of update on my car and there was issues when I went to initially pick up my car. They were charging me 480 when she had told me the final price was 355. I was about to pay when Sammy pulled up my car and said he wanted them to take another look at it because he heard a loud clunk and questioned why it passed inspection. They held on to it for another day and I got a call the next day to pick up my car because they can't do anything else to it and that it still sounds funky but there is no visual damage and it passed so there is that. They basically crossed their arms. I go to pick it up and the price is fixed to 355 and I am driving to work after they close and I tried to evade an accident and honk but to my dismay the horn wasn't working!!! My horn was disconnected! I was just in shock that I was close to being in an accident because a "reputable" mechanic gave me back my car when it's not up to legal code and my safety features aren't all working!! I called them and they were closed so I left a voicemail. I called them back today and Sammy picked up and I told him my horn isn't working and that it's disconnected and he said I have to wait for Fatima to get back to make an appt to come in for the technician to take a look at it!!! Like what?!?! My horn, a vital safety feature, isn't working because of them "fixing" my car and they said I have to continue to wait?? I am reporting them to my insurance because this place is so shady and unreliable. I can't believe they are still running! DO NOT COME HERE. Do not come here if you want your car working properly. Such a disgrace and disappointment to have to deal with their antics. Update: they called me back to try and fix my horn but since they can't visually see it (of course you can't visually see it from the outside) that they need to take the bumper off which is going to accumulate more labor that I have to pay. They are telling me to pay them again so they could fix their mistake. Lesson learned. Never coming here again nor recommending them. STEER CLEAR. I took it to the dealership to get it fixed correctly and to top it off they told me the initial alignment the Salinas collision shop did was CROOKED and they left loose bolts in my strut which was causing the noise!!

Augstin, or "Augie", is a very approachable and knowledgeable owner. He takes pride in his work and…read moreit honestly shows. My Nissan had those sun burns (some areas all the way down to the metal), on my hood, roof, and top of trunk. He gave me a fair quote and told me he needed 2 weeks overall,... he did it in 8 days. I was very very happy with the results and more. Because my front end was cracked all the way down from when I rear ended someone years ago and I also had about 7-8 door dings on my passenger side. My headlights were yellow and foggy and seriously needed buffering. Well, the quote was solely for the paint job alone in which I agreed but the dings on the doors, foggy headlights, front crack on bumper were not charged as extra. Augie seems to be that guy that goes the extra mile for you to make sure his customers were more than just satisfied. I HIGHLY recommend Delcas Auto Collision - especially for the fair price. Hats off to you Augie!

David Pineada (sp?) was attentive, thorough, and explained the complete process and the reasoning behind each step. No upsells, and used OEM parts as well. It was a three day job just prior to Thanksgiving, and the work was exemplary. But what set them apart was the detail oriented service - on drop off, they were prepared with a packet for the truck - no hand-written scribbles etc. Upon pickup, David called and offered to come pick me up! Another step out of the ordinary. But the kicker was that the truck was not washed - but detailed! Washed, waxed tires and rims, interior vacuumed and wiped down. Impressive. I'll be back if the occasion warrants. David exemplifies the excellence in customer service that can be rare.

Being in this industry for over 10 years here's the problem.... going to this establishment or…read moreanother either way it is beyond unprofessional to "trash talk" another shop. What I don't understand is how an estimator can write an estimate based on not seeing a vehicle and in the same sentence talk bad about a shop that went out of the way to explain the importance of parts usage and having certified parts and discovering additional damage so safety is not an issue in the future. Coming here to satisfy the requests of an at fault party in a collision to hear of them speak negative just to say "we can do it in half the price" helped realize the integrity of this establishment. Little to none. Funny fact: the establishment they trashed has a 5 star Yelp rating and has been in business I've 30years. SORRY not for me- people do your research and find a trustworthy location for your vehicle. I've came to realize you 100% get what you pay for with your vehicle and I'd never want to save a penny to compromise safety.
