The beef is freshly ground (by hand) the waiter told me. Also they make their own buns. The burger menu was simple, only 5 options. And, once they are sold out, you will have to order something else. They food at the restaurant mostly comes fresh and direct straight from the butcher / bakery. (They also have a catering service. They really do it all.) The restaurant serves classic German and modern German dishes. They have a different special every evening all served in a comfy cozy atmosphere. The tables are classic string wood with benches, booths, and comfy chairs. Christine is a great hostest / waitress / bartender (beer and wine and limited aperitif) who may even be cooking back in the kitchen. I had a good Wiezen beer and I ordered the special which was a Feldsalat, Turkey Rolls with mashed potatoes and a homemade turkey gravy. The Feldsalat had bacon strip crumbles, bacon vinaigrette dressing and homemade croutons that were straight from the oven and still hot. So good! The turkey roll was moist and delicious and the gravy top it all off. A great meal and I will definitely be back!
