The whole town seems to come in to socialize at the "Stammtisch", greeting each other with, "Servus!" The owner was the only waiter the night we were there. We looked in the kitchen on the way to the WC and he was the cook, too. Consequently, it took forever for the food to come. It was worth the wait. Hearty, traditional, Bavarian cooking was delicious and inexpensive.

The beef is freshly ground (by hand) the waiter told me. Also they make their own buns. The burger menu was simple, only 5 options. And, once they are sold out, you will have to order something else. So go early! They make every order fresh. Be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes, but it is worth the wait (have a beer and enjoy). This place is a must try if you are in the mood for a BIG, delicious burger. Family owned and operated. My biggest complaint is they are only open on the weekends.
