Very nice representative. I've been coming to this branch for well over 10 years and I can honestly…read moresay that I have never once had a problem with a teller nor a banking issue . The lines are always short , tellers are friendly, helpful and polite , it's always just a great experience. The only issue would be the occasional parking lot being a bit crowded since they share the out with several other businesses but that's not their fault So it you're looking for a credit union I'd suggest checking this one out in Inglewood on Century right by Costco .

I had another great experience working with Alan Shelley at California Credit Union! Alan took the…read moreinitiative to let me know that I was eligible to refinance my home at a lower rate. This was greatly appreciated because I do not keep my eye on the mortgage rate market since I am terrible at financial planning. Alan saved me over $200+ each month on my mortgage payments and all the closing costs were covered by the credit union. An incredible deal. Alan made the process seamless for me and explained all the technical details. Whenever I had a question about the technical jargon, Alan would break it down for me in layman's terms. I am a big believer in nonprofit banking, so it felt really great to not only refinance with a credit union but to also know that my mortgage remains with the credit union for the remainder of its term. I've been banking with California Credit Union for many years -- my savings and checkings accounts are with CCU and I hope to stay with them for the remainder of my time on earth!

5 star BUT do your homework/ shop around . But for the most part these guys are pretty ok. I…read morepersonally don't love all their staff members. They speak professionally in a "back handed compliment kinda of way". I read someone indicating this place has "terrible customer services" - well, its that persons own fault - they sould have done their homework and knew EXACTLY what they wanted before coming in. (the people who work here are not paid enuf to give a damn. ) And be ready for EVERYTHING TO TAKE FOREVER. No one working here has a sense of time or ugency. But I do like the little robot dude

I went in to apply for an auto loan, and the guy helping me (Tony) seemed like he couldn't wait to…read morego home. I was approved for the loan with little explanation or info on what to do next. I went home only to realize that the terms and conditions for the loan had a gray area condition that might not even work for my situation (something that could've been made clear upon receiving approval). Not that big of a deal.. I then attempted to call not only the loan officer himself, but the branch, as well as the company's main office line to no avail. I go back later the same day to see the same loan officer walking around freely, chatting happily with co workers (even though I was told over the phone that they were all unavailable or with customers). We speak again and I get a vague answer from Tony about the discrepancy, but this time I'm told they have to "wait for approval from the back office". This was all on a Friday, so I was aware that there would be a longer than usual delay over the weekend to get that answer. Come Monday, I receive nothing (by 1PM). I try and call all 3 lines again, nothing. I decide to go back in for a 3rd time and this time I spoke with a different loan officer (after requesting to speak with a manager and waiting 30 minutes), and he basically told me the same thing, that they were "working on it". I was told I would for sure get the answer I needed by the end of day, "maybe even sooner". That was at 2PM. Next thing you know it's 5PM (they're closed) and I've still received 0 updates or answers to my simple question regarding the loan. Now it's Tuesday (12PM) and I call again, just to be told by a main office worker that he "couldn't get ahold of anyone, but someone from the branch would give me a call by end of day". Based on my experience so far, I HIGHLY doubt that's gonna happen, and I'm tired of going in and waiting 30+ minutes for the same answers with no progress whatsoever. This whole ordeal has been a major waste of my time to say the least. This place has managed to turn something so simple into a major headache of mine. I'm having a really bad experience with this company so far. I would certainly not recommend.

Robert saw my financial situation, and really heard me when I explained what was going on, and took a chance on me to help me--without even being a member yet. Robert showed me that Ume is truly a Credit Union that puts people first, and does all they can to help. Unfortunately for my other bank (who refused to help me even after 15 years of business with them) I'm currently headed over to close out my accounts and transfer my business to Ume for the foreseeable future. Thanks again to Robert and Ume for all you've done!!

I appreciate the assistance I've received each and every time I need to address the accounts of my minor grandchildren. ***I want to reiterate the 4 star rating is due to their app, it needs work, often when attempting to complete a 'remote deposit' the image is backwards/upside down/inverted, which means the user has to manipulate the actual check, turning it until the image is reflected as it should be, a true nuisance. I have personally never had these many issues with a banks app before. The manager, Anita, is supremely in tune with customer service (she is beyond responsive), Dawn, Maria and Grigor are exceptional when the need to assist a customer with specific concerns, these four employees, including Yesenia, as well as every teller I've experienced are the reason my banking business remains with UME Burbank.

First Entertainment Credit Union - These ladies are so friendly and very helpful. It's so convenient for me to have the bank right by my office.

Did I mention the constant advertising and spam offers of credit? First Entertainment Credit Union is like a day on the beach during off season. There are people to talk to when you need something, money transfers happen swiftly with no anxious anticipation, their app interface is clean and uncluttered by distractions.

For an institution that markets itself as "fee free" and member-focused, I was hit with over $135 in fees in just the last month alone. Every time I reached out for help or clarification, customer service was either dismissive, unhelpful, or completely unwilling to work with me in any meaningful way. What's most disappointing is that I stayed loyal because I believed a credit union would treat members better than a traditional bank. Instead, I dealt with constant issues, poor communication, and zero flexibility when problems came up. There was never any sense that they actually valued long-term customers.
