Because my sister was busy with work (as always ), I took my niece to her end-of-semester piano recital, and my mom came along as well. The event was held at the Environment & Heritage Center, a place that felt a bit like a space telling stories of early human history, with several interactive areas for children to explore and play.
The recital took place in a spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows, where sunlight gently poured onto the piano. As the performance began, one little girl after another stepped onto the stage, each dressed in her most sparkling outfit, and played her piece. It was truly heartwarming to watch, and you could really see the effort, focus, and dedication behind their performances.
My niece played "The Dreaming of Home," and she did a great job. With soft Christmas music filling the air, the atmosphere felt especially warm and festive. After the performances, parents applauded enthusiastically, and it was time for the small trophy ceremony and group photos. This turned out to be her ninth trophy already, which made us all very proud and happy for her.
I truly hope she continues to enjoy music and keeps working hard. read more
