The one employee there the skinny curly haired guy is extremely rude and cold. I had to explain to my son leaving the store that', that is not how you treat customers end it is not okay at all. It was very uncomfortable. Just moments before we arrived he was giggling with his friend. Nor professional and will not be back! read more

Not the best experiences in the retail section of the store, but they have some good piano instructors. There is a separate section in the rear for instrument lessons. Rates are reasonable for instruction, but get a referral from someone you trust when choosing a teacher. No all are created equal. read more

This is a great store with friendly service. If you have a child looking to start in music you may want to rent first bc they may change or lose interest. Instruments can be expensive so I recommend this store as they make it simple and they are very knowledgable and helpful too. Plus best part is even though you rent , your payments will go towards a purchase should you choose to keep what your renting even if you change instruments!!! Wow! Geared for children who only go "so far". Horrible retail and repair but staff is nice. Sell mediocre guitars and drums etc for almost 2x more than retail. Need any work done: count on at least 2 wks without your instrument. Can only comment on 1 teacher, he was very patient. read more

I used to be a teacher for Music Showcase. I came in with a K-12 in Music, over 20 years of professional music teaching experience from all over the United States, and numerous professional performing accolades and multiple college degrees under my belt. The people they hire are underqualified, unprofessional and many do not have a college degree in music. I taught there for 3 months and quit after only 3 months. I know many of the teachers there, and they are not quality educators. Debra, the hiring manager knows absolutely nothing about music or music degree qualifications for her teachers. Every single month they paid me incorrectly, stealing some my earnings. The front office ladies do not have any accounting skills to keep accurate records of students, payments or teacher hours. The owner, Heather, is never at the location, and cheats her teachers out of their hard earned money intentionally. I became extremely ill from working in the facility to do test positive black mold contamination. I was seen three times for black mold poisoning by my ENT who is a highly reputable doctor in the area and was diagnosed with mold poisoning. My room got flooded from the heavy summer rains and they never fixed the black mold on the wall and under the 1960's carpet. I became so ill from the mold contamination that I finally had to discontinue working there. I would get extreme headaches, lethargy, fatigue, stuffy nose, running nose, coughing, and extreme brain fog. I told the management and they did absolutely nothing to remedy the problem. In short, I would not recommend this place to anybody for piano or voice lessons of any kind. The teachers are just not qualified to be teaching voice with zero degrees in piano performance or voice performance. I started my own company, the Brandon School of Music where I teach voice and piano. My friend and I came in here ready to drop hundreds on a guitar. I was ignored for a few minutes, then a lady finally came n asked what I'm looking for. I said an electric guitar and she shooed me off to a separate room without offering to help. She then went to tell her coworkers that I'm looking "for an electric guitar" and they proceeded to laugh condescendingly apparently because I'm not educated in guitars. This is pretty disgusting customer service. If someone who is inexperienced with instruments come in ready to spend money and learn I would think the people would want to help, not laugh at them. What a horrible business. They should be embarrassed at how rude they were and I will let everyone I know to avoid this place like the plague. read more

It should never the case that when you go to get a setup, your guitar comes back in worse condition than when it started. About a year or so ago, I brought it in to find that not only did they crack the paint in the neck pocket, but also the truss rod hole has a nice little dent in the wood. Repairing these flaws is impossible to make invisible. I no longer have that guitar today, but it is a great reminder that Music Showcase isn't any better than a corporate competitor. Maybe the giveaway should've been they don't even seem to be authorized sellers of Fender or Gibson. Yeesh. read more

This is a good store with really helpful staff, my daughter has rented an alto saxophone from here since 2015 and everytime it has needed a repair, it happened quick and was done very well. They also have a great teacher for lessons and they are great about cancelling lessons and rescheduling if necessary. read more

This is a very shady place with a nice looking store. We rented a Violin for a long time. It developed cracks on it, which I was willing to pay for. But they came back with an outrageous amount to repair it, reduced it a bit, and pretended to do me a big favor. Once you rent from 'em you are kinda stuck (that's the down side of renting I guess). Had to drive down 3 times to resolve this. Wouldn't return phone calls. Finally ended up paying what they are asking as I feel I don't have a choice. Not happy. read more

Gotta love this little shop, they rent instruments, do repair work (which i might add they do a great job they fixed my cello a few days ago and it plays beautifully now) they have amazing music instructors and their employees are super friendly and customer service is top notch read more
