Then I receive another call a week later repeating the same conversation as if the person had not already spoken with me. We were to arrange the return of the violins but they give me a residential address instead of a business address. I advised that I did not feel safe going to someone's home and I'd like to meet at the place of business and they claim they will meet me at the place of business however they will then have to charge me my "past due" fees even though they were the ones who went missing for months and already agreed twice that I am not responsibly for their business randomly closing with no word!!

One boys takes drum lessons, and the other takes Guitar. Both of my boys now conduct their weekly musics lessons online! I'm amazed at how the instructor can use Skype to give coaching with the same level of quality of being there in-person. TODAY - I am contacted with an explanation that "I honestly thought you were probably a good person but I felt a dislike towards me right away. That energy was truly difficult for me to deal with." His "concerned" response concluded with this: "PS. I once had a doctor do surgery on my knee. I really disliked him (really this guy was a jerk) but I knew he was an expert..... My knee works great again. :)" Since 12/23/2014 (again five months after my initial review) - the Owner has contacted me several times via personal email 3-4 and 1x telephone (actually left a message) - surreptitiously attempting to convince me to edit/delete or otherwise alter my review. I find the Owner's contact inappropriate and borderline harassing. I rejected his offers of a refund as that is not the intent of my review - rather to advise others of my experience. The Owner provided a service- and was compensated for his service. My opinion is this Owner does not take kindly to those with opposing/differing views. Unprofessional and inappropriate boundaries.

I get up early in the morning to make sure we get a spot every time registration opens up. The curriculum is so rich. It is thoughtful, calming, and I can see my son's eyes light up with wonder with every new activity. We've been in class with Miss Jenny and Miss Monica and they are the BEST! Miss Jenny has taught me several parenting tricks like how to sing to my child through transitions, diaper changes, and more. The owners are also organized, responsive, and wonderful communicators. We did try the infant massage class and while my little guy didn't sit still in that class...we took those skills home and actually still use the same massage technique at bedtime. My son looks forward to it. If you have to choose one activity for your child, I'd highly recommend musicology. I wish all parents had access!

An adult male guitar instructor at the Gilbert location read an article called "Are Guitarists Good in Bed?" to my 13 year old daughter who was taking private guitar lessons for the past 4 months. The instructor admitted to reading the article and was temporarily suspended but did keep his job, and has been offered professional development as a consequence. The manager of the Gilbert location and the owner (who also owns the site in Scottsdale) said they believed the instructor who said he was sorry and that he read this article as a joke, but had no bad intent. Management's solutions were to implement professional development for all staff (great for staff and future kids) and keep this instructor as a vital member to their business (great for his career). I am told he teaches 20+ kids up to 4 days a week and "deserves a second chance". We were told we could pick a new instructor, pick a different day, call to make sure he wasn't staffing whatever she wants to participate in, and if she really wanted to attend something he was staffing that they'd move him if they could, or attend the Scottsdale site. All of these solutions put the burden on the victim when the consequences should be placed on the adult who made the decision. When I offered these as solutions for the instructor to bear it was repeatedly rejected. When I inquired about the steps that were taken during his suspension and how they cleared him to return to work, I was accused of "going on a witch hunt" by the owner instead of being informed on their process and efforts to restore my broken trust and that of my daughter. I believe this instructor should have been fired on the spot for his behavior, and at the very least if he were to remain employed, that he would bear the brunt of the changes needed to care for the intent as perceived by the child who was brave enough to speak up before things got dangerous despite knowing it meant she could lose the opportunity to join the performance group with her piers. Which it has because our final two lessons were refunded.
