I have been shopping at Music Go Round in Duluth for years; ever since they were located across the parking lot where the pizza joint is no Iw. I bought my first guitar there, and I still have it to this day. They treated me great then, and they STILL treat their customers great! I just bought a new guitar 2 weeks ago and as I was putting it away after playing it for the second time and I noticed that it had CRACKED abought a quarter inch from the neck, all the way down to the sound hole! The humidity got to it I guess. I took it back up to the store and they were so AWSOME! They swapped it out for another guitar and advised me to put a humidifier in it this time. This was the first time that that has ever happened to me! But AGAIN the guys at Music Go Round took great care of me! I RECOMMEND THIS STORE TO EVERYONE!! read more

i have been going the Duluth, MN Music Go Round for years. It is always the highlight of my day. Each time I stop in, the staff greats me by name, are in a good mood and friendly. They appear to enjoy their job. Sometimes I stop in to just see what's new and they let me be. Sometimes I need a specific item and they are alway helpful and attentive. Many times I have purchased, returned or exchanged musical equipment. They've always treated me fairly and professionally during these transactions. The Duluth Music Go Round crew are all awesome! It's the only place to shop for gear in the twin ports area. They give a fair price for trades and price their gear at market value. As a gigging musician in a smaller area like this it's great to have a locally musician owned store to do business with. Never know what gem you'll find on their walls. read more

If you ever bought a new instrument on-line and were disappointed I would recommend actually leaving your house and going to MGR. You can even bring them said instrument and trade it in for something better. Something that you can actually see and hear. They are also very honest if you like that sort of thing. read more

I live out of state and I found a used guitar online in their shop. I called to confirm they had it after filling out a request form the night before on the computer. They told me that they did but that someone was looking at it and had it on hold for 20 minutes. They told me that if the person didn't come back in 20 minutes, they'd contact me and sell me the guitar. 5 hours later, I called and they told me the person had just come back into the store and was trying to decide. I told them this was ridiculous and that I was ready to buy then and there. They told me that they had to honor their in-person customer and that they'd call me back in 10 minutes. Approximately 30 minutes later, they called and told me the person had taken both guitars and put them on layaway. Not a great experience at all, considering I had filled out the information form the night before so technically, I was first to express interest in the guitar. read more

SO HELPFUL! I had some confusion with a guitar cord. They had my previous purchases in their computer and sent me on my way with a new cord no questions asked. Turns out..... it was my error. I have never been more disappointed in any store in my life!!! From the moment I walked in to look around the store, to the moment I walked out. I was treated with disrespect from the worker that came up to me and acted like the Keyboard I was looking at wasn't even an instrument. Good, knowledgeable service and fair prices on a great selection of used music equipment. Lots of cool old pedals and stuff to check out among all the guitars and drums sets. Decent selection of orchestra and band instruments for school as well. I've sold a few music items which I didn't need any more here and that has gone satisfactorily. read more

My favorite music store. If your lucky you may catch Eric playing some of his awesome ear candy. Mark just stays busy but he doesn't fool me because he was quite the rocker in his day and probably still is. I think the 3rd guy is on hand to toss out the customers that insist on turning up to 11 before asking the staff. Fair prices with a smile. What more could you ask for?
