I've been to a few classes thus far and I have to say that Kim is a fun instructor that keeps me entertained and sweating. The dances are fun and there's a wide range of people there. On occasion, Kim seems to lose track of where in the dance we are and give the wrong instruction. But, she is able to correct herself quickly. And I must admit that if I had to memorize that much choreography, I'd probably forget as well. The Zumba schedule is kind of limiting and I really wish they would offer more classes on the weekends, when I actually have time to go.

Folks can come in and experience a class in several different styles (aerial, modern, choreography) and be welcomed as they are. The classes are small, providing personalized attention from instructors. There are opportunities for performing here, which I love. However, no one is pressured and if performing is not your thing, that is okay too! Zuzi is also very involved in the community, which I appreciate. They partner with other dance organizations to present several performances per year, and those are wonderful chances to see various dance works that might not otherwise have a venue to be showcased. My daughter has also taken aerial classes and really loves them. She likes that the instructors are welcoming and that they don't tolerate cliques between groups of students that might know each other better than newcomers. She also appreciates the opportunity to participate in performances several times a year.

It all started when I was a first-time mama looking to give my (very) busy toddler a healthy physical outlet. One that was more structured than what I could offer on my own with park play, splash pads and "the jumpy place" (trampoline park). I was looking for a family friendly environment. A safe and clean place. As well as something that encouraged gross-motor skills, strength and confidence in a positive way. We hit the jackpot with this one. I remember chatting with the sweet gal at the front desk when my first kiddo started here in 2015. Only to realize much later she was the owner. The professionalism, integrity and humility that she welcomed us with continues to shine through to all of the employees we have been lucky enough to meet. Over the years our littles (and not-so-littles) have taken part in kids-night-out and open gym. We even hosted one of our littles birthday parties here. From gymnastics to hip hop class and ninja to tumble, each and every one of the staff members have been supportive, communicative and patient with our kiddos. Our latest event was showcase. It was AWESOME! Watching the skill and progress our girl made in tumble was so rewarding. We were a little bit sad to find out that she was considering stopping tumble to pursue other sports when showcase was over. They were loud and played loud music. It was unacceptable considering that we thought it would be a private lesson.
