I believe that we learn music by playing music, and I tailor my lessons to each student's musical interests and goals. I also host quarterly recitals and organize ensembles so that students have the opportunity to perform live with their peers. Music is an art form of expression and cooperation, and there is no substitute for one-on-one lessons -- not even YouTube. To prove it, I'll teach you the first lesson for free. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. I have 6-year-olds playing blues piano, 65-year-olds that can blow a mean jazz sax solo, and teenagers working their way through clarinet sonatas. Every time I see them play, I am reminded that life doesn't get much better than this.
