I found the house I bought prior to calling her to represent me in the purchase - which should have made her job pretty damn easy, but this isn't a 1 star review for nothing. Or I guess it is, since nothing was the best I could say came from this professional relationship. Prior to closing, she was extremely unresponsive about drafting the purchase agreement - it got to the point of desperation for me that I began to type out the whole contract with changes, as she couldn't or wouldn't provide the file so I could make the changes myself, yet was slow and terribly inaccurate making the changes herself. It was frustrating, especially as the changes were pretty simple, but took several revisions (proofreading is a good idea when you're revising contracts - you'd hope they covered that in the real estate licensure class, but apparently not). Maybe if you're selling she'll be more on the ball, but I really would strongly recommend any prospective buyers in the area to go with a different realtor - or just find a good lawyer and see if you can represent yourself. I wish I had.

Although this was not our first home, it certainly felt like a first-time buying experience as many of the rules that applied in 2014 no longer applied to the housing market of 2024. Given all that, Kerry was the perfect individual to help us navigate this brave new world. Let me tell you why. First off, and possibly most importantly, Kerry has a great vibe. In January of 2024, my family and I began what turned out to be an extended search for our next home. In total, it took about four and a half months for us to find "the one." During that period we naturally spent a good deal of time with Kerry. In short, she is a delight to be around: easy-going, funny, and knowledgable. Kerry is also exceedingly responsive. During our long-haul search, I do not think we ever waited more than 20 minutes for Kerry to return a text message or call. This was crucial because we were searching from afar. At that time, my family and I resided in Saint Albans and would drive down to SE Vermont on the weekends to look at homes. Kerry always scheduled viewings that were very convenient for us and would offer to conduct virtual walkthroughs when possible. I know she was working with many clients at that time, but we always felt like we were the top priority. Kerry is knowledgeable. From helping us to understand the dynamics of the local markets that we were looking in, to suggesting ways for us to remain competitive in the face of all-cash offers, Kerry has a wealth of knowledge at her disposal.
