Blake Shelton's Mom was in house signing her new book. She was kind and funny. She also makes lovely jeweled decor using old costume jewelry. Her business partner, Kimberly, paints pictures of your favorite furry pets and she is quite good. I was more taken with her leather jewelry though. Kimberly is very creative as well. Blue River lost his records, twice, and refused to fill his prescription until they had seem him. Fine. It had been almost 5 months since his last checkup, and I wanted to get him in soon anyway. I scheduled an appointment. The vet accused me of "making up stories" about my cat's medical history, and ran a bevy of tests that clocked in at $335, only to tell me that his numbers haven't changed from what my former vet (one of the best feline internists in the Midwest) had sent over. My cat is 15 years old. I've had him since he was a kitten. Kidney disease is literally the most common senior cat issue. Blue River still hasn't gotten back to me about his thyroid test, despite me contacting them. Additionally, the vet tried to talk me into stopping subcutaneous fluid treatment (necessary for keeping him alive) to "see what would happen". If there was literally any other vet in the area, I would go there. Wildly unprofessional, expensive, and unethical. Instead of reaching out to resolve miscommunication and apologize, they fired me as a client after reading the Google review, refusing to issue life-saving medication for my cat.
