I hired Thomas Murray based on his yelp reviews and he didn't disappoint. When our second child arrived, we thought it was time to make sure our bases were covered if something were to happen to me and/or my wife. I work with attorneys on a day-to-day basis and my wife is an attorney so we are pretty picky about who we hire to do legal work. Thomas did an excellent job putting together our family trust as well as preparing and executing the related transfer documents and making sure that we understood the purpose of each document. I was especially appreciative of how well organized he was. I had a long list of questions going into our initial meeting but I didn't need to ask any of them because they were all covered as Thomas walked us through the process. He used the information from our initial meeting to quickly and accurately draft all the necessary documents. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, his price was fixed and it was low enough that we still have assets to put in our new trust. Some of the other attorneys we contacted wanted large retainers and to work on an hourly basis. Large retainers are totally understandable in situations where the amount of work is unknown, but a fixed price is fair for the type of work we were asking for.
