The food was good, great staff, knew when it was time to start a new tray. Steak was great and the candy carrots were the best (and I hate carrots). They had 2 empty holes ahead of them while we all stacked up behind them. Between the stopping for group selfies, high fiving after every shot, and going together to each ball, then standing and talking about their shot, it was the most horrible round of golf having to follow these people. The total disregard for etiquette as well as the other players on the course was unbelievable. FYI, the ranger mentioned that the owner "would fire him" if anything was said to his wife. A truly sad state of affairs at Merrimack Valley.

Their website and scorecard both say max time for 18 is 4:30. Pure fantasy. Rangers are non-existent. Every time that I have played this course this season has been 5+ hours. Terrible Customer Service!…read more I had a group of 8 golfers playing back to back tee times. One of the guys that was supposed to play got sick in the middle of the night and couldn't make it. I told the girl behind the desk and she told me that she would have to mark my account but wouldn't charge me. Very reasonable and I thanked her for it... until I checked my credit card account the next day, when I noticed I was charged a no show fee. I called the pro shop to complain. They said they couldn't verify my story so they wouldn't give me the refund. They asked me to describe the girl who told me she wouldn't charge me, as if they don't have a record of who was behind the desk at 7am on a Friday. Then I was told I could try to print my credit card statement and bring it in next time I play, but when I suggested taking a picture of my statement she said that wouldn't suffice. I don't live very close to the course and rarely play there so to insist that I do it in person is absurd, especially in this digital day we live in. I get it, my group had a no show. Had I been told that they would have to charge me for it right when I checked in, that would have been reasonable. But to tell me that I wasn't going to be charged, and then to later have my account charged and called a liar for the story I told is just bad business. To be treated with such disrespect and basically called a liar makes this mediocre course not worth ever playing at.
