Knowledgeable and willing to accommodate a substitution. Food- I started with butternut squash soup, which was quite good. My husband had french onion soup, which we felt was about average. I had the salmon dinner entree. The salmon was excellent, perfectly cooked with a nice light crust. I asked for asparagus instead of brussel sprouts, and the asparagus spears were cooked, but tough, and the carrots were perfect. The smear of celery root was not warm, which was a bummer. my husband had braised short ribs, and said he felt his green beans were underdone, but the meat was extremely tender and delicious. His smear of squash puree was also cold. We both had the crème brute for dessert, and that really was the star of the show! Overall- this place is what you make it. If you like to have more control of your meal and like a variety of flavors, it might not be for you, but we really enjoyed it!

My wife questioned the price published against what the cashier charged and the cashier said "listen lady I don't handles the prices here and can't help you". My wife was in tears when we got to the car, so aggressive and unprofessional. It was an insignificant amount, but to me that wasn't the point. If a store misleads, that's isn't right. Plus and young cashier being rude. I returned to the store and requested to speak with the manager and asked the cashier if she could join us. He said it was just a communication problem and I disagreed. I recommended to the manager a better approach in the future for his employees to take such as "I sorry ma'am, let me get someone who can help with getting the price straight" but he exploded and said I was insulting him as if he he couldn't take any advice. I was trying to help a young manager improve things. But he threatened to not help me and asked me to shut up. I will never shop here. The manager there was very condescending and wasn't going to take advice. I now understand why the employees treat customers like they do. Horrible service and I will never shop at this store again.
