What's happened here is they have gone from hometown corner store to all-in corporate. Even the managers have attitudes. If you're wanting to be QT, might I suggest a field trip.

With the exception of this center, each center was very welcoming and clean. At this center, I had my first (and possibly last) experience with doing laundry at a Love's. The whole laundry experience took me about three hours, eating up a good chunk of our travel time. My experience included the following: 1. I easily found the laundry area, which included two washing machines. One had Love's blue towels in it, though hadn't been turned on yet. 2. I tried repeatedly to get a credit card to work in the remaining machine and kept failing, eventually getting a message to get service. 3. I eventually went to the person at the counter and asked for help. She came back with me and didn't know what to do. 4. I suggested unplugging and plugging the machine back in, as that had worked at another laundry center. 5. She tried that, resulting in the machine cycling through updates and processing for over 10 minutes. Eventually it showed an "E24 error." 6. She then said she would go ask the manager for help. 7. Since she never returned after 20 minutes, I went to the register and found her there. She asked, "Still doesn't work?" I said it still did not so she then asked the manager to help me. 8. The manager immediately said that the washing machines don't work with credit cards so got me $3 in quarters and that worked. (I found no signs posted on this issue. I am grateful that he didn't take my offer to pay him back.) 9. When asked if the dryers worked with cards, he said he thought so. 10. He was wrong so I went to the counter to get change. 11. The same manager then sent the same attendant to help me. She knew nothing about the machines only taking coins and the manager didn't mention that issue to her. 12. So I told her the issue might be that machines only take coins. She then helped me get another $3 in quarters. That worked. 13. She later came to unload the store towels and said sorry for the troubles. That's when I told her again about only coins work and suggested putting up signs. She gave me a blank look and didn't put up a sign while I was here for the next hour. I love Love's Travel Centers and can see that they have strict policies for greeting guests and for keeping the restrooms clean. However, they don't seem to have policies on keeping their laundry rooms in working order or posting signs on how to use the machines. They likely don't make a lot of money from the laundry room, but the convenience is a great benefit for travelers. Also, all previous Love employees have been helpful and friendly. The ones here felt uncaring. I hope the laundry room now has a sign or that the machines have been fixed.

One self-checkout kiosk available for customers to pay for their merch. One young lady staff behind the counter to assist. She was amicable and helpful. I have been buying magnets during our entire Historic Route 66 road trip. No more magnets for me. I wanted to get something different to bring home. What caught my eyes was a jar of Oklahoma Oil chocolate rocks. You read right. I couldn't resist, but to buy it for my eldest daughter. She loves chocolate rocks. She was very happy I got it for her. Chocolate rocks had a deep and smooth milk chocolate flavor. Quite addicting! Wished I got more than one jar. Great stop to shop for last minute snacks and souvenirs while waiting for your flight out. You may get them items right after your flight in as well. They'll be here. Thanks Trip Advisor!

I had a very concerning experience here. I paid in cash and was shorted on my change by their…read moremachine. When I brought it to the employees' attention, I was told there was nothing they could do about it. That is not an acceptable response when you are taking people's money. If you are accepting cash, you are responsible for making sure customers receive the correct change. Passing the blame to a machine while keeping the difference is not okay and feels deceptive. Because of this, I will be filing a complaint with the Oklahoma Attorney General Consumer Protection Unit. I strongly recommend others double check their change if they choose to shop here. I will not be returning.

Employees are very nice. The store is large and has everything you need including the typical hot food served at convenience stores. They have good hot coffee too. On our way home we made sure to stop at this location again to get our gas, use restroom and  get our snacks. Let me tell you driving cross country many many times it can be scary opening that bathroom door but rest assure this place is clean! If travelling  through Oklahoma on I-40, the Yukon exit is a great place to stop.The town is clean and pleasant with ample restaurants too.
