Taking the country roads may make for interesting sights but there can be long stretches between towns. I spotted this place which had a minimart type store and pulled in. There was no problem being directed to the restroom but I hit a hitch trying to buy a drink for the road in the minimart. I'll save that story for my review of the store though. Best of all; clean and well-stocked bathrooms to accommodate more than one person at a time. We also found one of those awesome laminated maps (my favorite) for when we head into Indiana (again, the approximate middle of nowhere). We travel a lot but like back country roads where smart phones are no longer so smart. You'd be surprised how few places sell maps anymore (or maybe you wouldn't since it seems like I'm the only one who buys them anymore? Oh well.) I highly recommend this stop. It's a nicely stocked store with friendly service. We got gas and some drinks and all went smoothly. Separate men and women's bathrooms that aren't just single stall so a family doesn't have to race or yell "dibs" after a long car ride through beautiful no-man's land. Best of all; it was CLEAN!!! Much better than I expect on the road, particularly when it's the road less traveled!
