They had visited one in San Antonio, but reveled in the more massive scale that the Daytona location offers. I kind of went crazy myself, buying way more than intended. It's easy to do. From so many tempting food items, snacks, apparel to housewares, things can really get out of hand spending-wise. I can rationalize a lot of it though, because individual items, for the most part, are priced reasonably. This time I grabbed a Brisket & Egg Taco. That brisket is amazing! Enjoyed having it without any BBQ sauce slathered on so I could purely appreciate the meat's glorious fatty flavor. Their tortillas are made fresh at a devoted station. Everything is well-maintained from the restrooms to merchandise displays. My cashier was another bright spot. She engaged me in conversation and made me feel valued as a customer. The only thing I don't love is getting through the parking out. I am always able to park, but with all the traffic it's rather hectic.

I bought the cashews ones but think I prefer almonds and pecans when sugar coated ate them on the way back to Orlando . They have a counter to purchase jerky meats of various kinds too and sauces on a rack . The gas station prices seemed the same as the others even though people say it is cheaper. One could spend a long time there looking at all the merchandise and eating . A good stop if passing by and if you are up for a ride you can travel to it from other places. What were the two people doing in there that we saw? Anyway, we left. We didn't even bother giving them our business for the gas.

I've passed by the old store countless times, the exterior was disgusting so I never stopped in, the pumps were decrepit and difficult to access and there was absolutely no appeal even though it's in a prime location. The engineers and architects did an amazing job with this new layout- they turned the face of the store ninety degrees and elevated everything. The new store is beautiful and modern and the pump island is easily accessible with lots of pumps as well as a drive through car wash. Although I haven't gone inside yet I can't imagine a facelift of this magnitude would come without a new business plan - this is the opportunity to clean up things including all the bad habits. We had one sad gas station that looks like it should be condemned with ridiculously high gas prices. Now there is a bright and shiny new one stop convenience store. AND it's open 24 hours a day. The food offered is amazing with a COFFEE BAR!, PIZZA!, chicken, hot and cold sandwiches, a hot dog roller grill spinning 24-7, a frozen yogurt buffet, an enormous candy selection and all the chips and snacks you could ever want. The coolers are huge and have all the beverages. There is also a fountain area with sodas and frozen concocts. The restrooms are sparkling clean. There's an indoor and outdoor seating area and a complete truck stop with diesel pumps and scales. The staff is always friendly and goes over and above to make travelers and locals feel welcome.
