The only down side is because it's a convenience store (basically), the items are a smidge higher than what you might pay at Walmart or Tom Thumb. Again, you're paying for convenience so it's a trade off.

The lady running the store had the air of being the owner, but I'm not sure. She was on the phone the whole time, speaking what turned out to be German. She did pause long enough to talk to me when I was ready to check out, but she didn't acknowledge me otherwise the entire time I was there. And I was there longer than planned since Yelp was in serious need of some pics of this place... So minus one star for lack of customer service. When you pay a notable premium for a locally owned, high-end food mart like this, it'd be nice to be acknowledged. $5 for the Triscuits and cheese sticks were $1 each. $7 for a very quick, healthy meal with delicious Triscuits left over. He seemed unaware of the 7 eleven deals like the free small slurped on every Friday for February 2025 and I had to show him on my phone the website of the company stating the slushee was free and though he gave it to me, he was still skeptical. Another time me and my friend came in the store and spent hardly 5 minutes in there and he had called out to us from across the store to ask if we were finished and ready to check out, what is the rush? (I assume he thought we were going to steal because we were laughing and trying on hats). Finally, I was behind a group of boys in line and they were trying to apply a deal to two items but the deal was only for small bags, so instead of suggesting they get the small or asking them to wait by the side while they get their correct order, he tells them "just pay! I cannot wait". The store was hardly busy and as the next customer in line I was appalled by his actions. These events have happened over the course of a week or two (I come here regularly). There is only one employee that I thought was amazing here (he let me off the hook for 5 cents), but it seems he does not work there anymore and they have downgraded.

The employees here are always very pleasant and kind and I've always had a great experience. They also have a dry cleaners connected and it is also inside of the mini market and I've gone there as well and they did a wonderful job. Convenient place and friendly people!
