Dr. Murphy is a genius. I came to him recently because my dentist of over 30 years retired and I wanted to find a dentist within walking distance of my home (this is age related). I was fortunate to have a friend who recommenced Dr. Murphy. I had a routine teeth cleaning about three weeks ago, and then....... Last evening I bit into a chicken bone and the veneer on one of my two main front teeth broke crookedly down the tooth. The destroyed veneer matched the one next to it and I did not know what the repair would be. I anticipated a few weeks at the least of taking molds, matching shades of the existing veneer, etc.
As luck would have it, something had gone wrong with the dental office's telephone system and throughout the night and morning i was not able to reach the office. The next day, around noon, I went to Dr. Murphy's office. He found a way to fit me into his day. He did not tell me what he was going to do, he just did it. I had no idea but somehow I had decided to simply put myself (literally) into his hands. There was no hesitation, no explanation, no studying, he just worked on my front tooth. It was painless. He proceeded with total confidence and professionalism. It took about a half hour or so. When he finally let me look in the mirror, I could not believe what I saw. There was my tooth restored matching exactly the veneer of the tooth next to it. Amazing! Unbelievable! I have no idea how he did it. He never hesitated or spent time thinking what to do.
