The gentleman who did my physical was great as were all the staff members who helped me with the intake process. The issue occurred during the donation process. I had donated at a different location consistently for about a year, but decided to try octapharma for it's convenient location. I never had issues at the other location regarding the stick. I don't have unusual veins in any way. This Monday the tech who stuck me had many issues with my vein. The machine was not receiving blood no matter how much I pumped. The tech had to move my needle around quite a bit, eventually with the help of another tech, until they decided to put the machine on "it's lowest setting". It was a long, and painful process. My arm hurt significantly from when I left the building until today. I called Donor relations on Wednesday to explain my situation and told her I had donated many times and had never had this much pain and wasn't sure if this was normal. To this she replied "yes this is normal for a first time donor"..... First time donor?? This is my reason for this review. Because I have reached out to them directly and have been brushed off and unheard. I do not recommend coming here for your own health.

If you request paperwork or anything specific there is a great chance you will not receive it. Wait times are extreme 95% of the time even if there are few people. Don't expect a fancy waiting room first off, this is as basic as it gets. Small T.V. in the corner to make some noise and a few magazines. You fill out your information and leave it by the window which is COVERED in signs for some of the people that are just a bit to anxious to be seen. You get called in and they check you out. Everyone here now is very pleasant to deal with. There was a previous staff of "RUDE" people but thankfully they are all gone There was a different P.A. (Physician Assistant) when I first started to come here and he was great. He went to another location and now there is a young lady who rocks. I am very comfortable discussing any and all things I don't like happening to my being and will ask all questions. Both of them have answered and do it right. This P.A. was able to help me quickly and with very little costs. Offering different options of treatments for what ever is needed at the time. Being one that lives with High Blood Pressure, I have always had nothing but great results here. I will say the only downside here is the men's restroom is nasty.. One would think it would be cleaned very well but not the case.. Hope that changes.

When I had my latest surgery, she once again made sure she gathered the medical information to fully understand what all was going on. The only negative is the appointment availability, if I have something wrong with me my appointments are always next day or within a week. However, if I call to get a physical wellness exam my appointment gets pushed out 4-6 months. It makes me sad because I like to keep tabs on my health every year but having to book so far in advance seems a bit extreme especially since my schedule or circumstances may change during the window that I am waiting. I don't have any chronic illnesses or huge health concerns but diabetes, cancer and high blood pressure run in my family and I would rather be proactive now that I do not have issues in hopes that my preventative measures will allow me to catch an illness earlier rather than later. I do hope they start allowing more flexibility for physical exam appointments. It would be nice if there was a balance of sick visits and physical exam visits available. Also, the front desk staff really needs to work on being more friendly.. I feel that they are always less than eager to help and when you call treat you as if you are a nuisance.

Office staff and nurses are always polite and quick, but I do not have the time to sit around for hours waiting to see the doctor- they don't take appointments, and apparently it's not at all uncommon for the office to open at 9 or 10 AM and people sit around waiting until the doctor actually shows up at noon or so. This is completely absurd and disrespectful to me and my time, especially if I'm having to take time off from work to go in for medical attention. Even for short issues such as a flu shot or minor medical issue, my sister has had to wait a couple of hours and often has to return back at another time when she can't put off going to school or work any longer. I don't know how this office manages to stay open! I love that there's a Hobby Lobby next door, because I often spent more time wandering the store waiting for my turn to come up than I did actually being given any attention. When I moved to the medical center, I saw another doctor for a while and was prescribed medication for my thyroid- despite receiving copies of my records from the other doctor, Dr. Gonzales dragged his feet and delayed reinstating my prescription repeatedly. This is a simple issue that should have been resolved in a single visit, with a simple blood test, but took several visits and a lot of snarky comments from the doctor in order to get a minimal dosage prescribed. Due to the lack of service here, I have chosen to select another general practitioner.

Every visit she EXCEEDS my expectations and spends at least 10-20 minutes with me (compared to an average of 2-5 min with most physicians). This place covers everything from physicals, immunizations, check-ups, sprains/bumps/bruises, colds/flu treatment, weight loss programs, and just about everything in between. Rochele has always made me feel comfortable, un-pressured with treatment options, and always does an exceptional job of educating me on my results/conditions. The waiting area is always sparkling clean, and I usually only wait about 5 minutes before being called back, then another 5-10 minutes to see Rochele (unheard of with most family medical practices which usually make you wait sometimes 30-60 minutes before seeing the medical provider). Along with the medical practice, there is also an Airrosti location within the facilities, which treats musculoskeletal conditions with conservative care and transparent costs. There is also a Quest diagnostics testing center located here as well, which makes getting blood drawn/testing SUPER efficient and convenient! Highly recommend this practice to get conservative exceptional care!

I worked in a medical office I know how normal protocol works and what is proper etiquette. Here's the problem I have-SOMEONE IN THAT OFFICE CALLED ME AND RESCHEDULED MY APPOINTMENT FOR TODAY AT 8am. even though the front desk girl with the tattoo on her left arm argued with me that no one would do that there- so basically called a PATIENT a liar. When I asked if I could be scheduled she said we don't take walk-ins. Nah dip chocolate chip but at this point you owe me an appointment. Here's the best part, I am trying to be seen for a shoulder injury since my insurance won't allow me to go to an urgent care I had to see a pcp- gets even better my insurance ends on the 31st so now because of the front desk's mistake I can't be seen until my new insurance kicks in which will be 3 months from now. Also tried to speak to the clinic manager- she denied me of that too. You need to fire your girl at the front- sorry but not sorry I worked in the medical field I know that it's hard to maintain a smile during some patient visits but to outright deny them- is not okay. I will be calling daily to speak to the clinic manager. Your front desk turned a patient away- who was crying she was in so much pain- I already had to wait to be seen. and then you do this.
