First of all, I am 70+ years old and in my lifetime, I've used several of the "top" tree cutting /…read morestump grinding companies in CNY. Well, I had a relatively small job [2-hours] and for the last 3 months I have waited, called, waited, sent emails and waited somemore for these "top" companies to call back or stop by to no avail. I have learned many of the big companies were working the new MICRON project [I don't blame them, but what about the little guy customers? I then found out about Apple Valley Professional Tree Service/Stump grinding. I called them and spoke with Jeremy [co-owner]. He made arrangements to be at my house the next morning. He arrived promptly [almost as if he was providing a professional service]. He inspected the job, estimated two hours, gave me a price and arranged to have the job done within three days. He returned to his office and called back and set up an exact date/time. Matt [the other co-owner] showed up exactly on time and before he arrived at the job in my rear yard his saw started up and he was cutting. He cut the large tree like a surgeon and handled it as professionally as I have ever seen. He worked very hard for 1.5 hrs and he was done. He offered to take away the debris for free, but I opted to handle it myself...good exercise. I can't say enough good things about this company, which has been around for 6-7 years and has a fantastic reputation. If ever you need anything done to any size trees, scrubs, stumps, please do yourself a favor and call Matt or Jeremy and I assure you a big broad smile. He and his wife Kristal are VERY, to say the least, professional, knowledgeable and polite. The work they performed was TOP NOTCH. Matt and his team did not leave until our property was perfectly cleaned up after the trimming and pruning of various trees in the front, side and backyard. I had told my neighbor and sister in law about Apple Valley and we all had work done yesterday by them and VERY pleased. It's nice to know that there are still business owners out there that have and demonstrate old fashioned business values and treat the customer the way they want to be treated. KUDOS and THANKS to Matt, Kristal and their team!! Ched Cummings- Syracuse
