    House with people outside.
    Yula K.

I live near here. It is a house. With a big chain link fence up front. People always taking photos in front. I walk around the area and sometimes they film things here. Put pumpkins on the trees in April, as if it is Halloween. They even swapped the front gate for a very intricate Victorian front gate. But then they switched it back. No taste I suppose. I hope nobody has died here. 5 stars.

If you're a fan of AHS it's definitely a must! It's so cool to be able to see the house in real life and see all of the details! The house is fenced off but you can still snap some pictures! When we went there were a few other cars but we were able to snap our photos and then head out in less than 10 minutes!

If you watched AHS Season 1 then you should be familiar with this house as it was a main focal point of the show and it's pretty cool that it is a real house, right here, in Los Angeles. I don't believe anyone currently reside in it. It's fenced up and looks like it may be used for multiple types of film shoots. There isn't much you can do but take photos from outside the chain length fence, so if you're in the area it's worth stopping by.

I'm a huge fan of the American Horror Story series. I happened to be in LA and decided to stop by! Why not right! So I pulled out and immediately started getting the creeps! At the same time it was beautiful! Loved it. I definitely want to come back in the day time to get better pics.

    Do you see it

The Murder house was everything I was hoping it would be the only thing was that it was fenced off and you could not walk up to the front door. But it was very nice and the fans that I saw all were great telling stores about how they learned of the murder house

Amazing to see the house in person, crazy weird vibe but if you are a AHS fan its worth it.

I got to see them filming. It was so dope! I seen 4 actors as well! You may watch them film from across the street.

Murder house through the chain link fence. Taken 10/31/21

We loved visiting murder house on Halloween 10/31/21. Wish there wasn't a fence around it but I totally understand why they have it. Still got some cool photos though

FRom the set; in real life chain link fence is up, bushes are gone. It actually looks spookier in real life.

That venue was spacious and beautiful. The only concern I have is the 2 hour time limit. There's a lot to see and do in 2 hours, plus, you gotta make sure you get all your mini cocktails included in your admission. All the rooms are spectacular and the shows are fascinating. It is always hard to solve the mystery since you have to talk to all the characters for various clues. This year, we decided just to enjoy everything.

I'd describe it as an adult, haunted house, mystery theater, burlesque, nightclub party. It is definitely not for children (there was one room with completely naked performers) We thought House of Spirits was excellent. The space, decorations, costumes and especially the performers. They were really into their craft and interactive with guests. We also really enjoyed all the specialty cocktails. We went midday which was less expensive and thought it is was a good value for the experience. As there were significantly fewer attendees midday we had a far more interactive experience than if it were packed - which I feel would also have been fun but more in a nightclub/ party sort of way where you might interact with other attendees more. Although they had musical performances, it actually would be good for that one selected room to have music playing constantly -between performances- and a paid bar option -to lean things more to a party vibe. We did spend a hefty $34 (with tip) for 2 light pours of red wine in the lobby which I would not recommend. We would have happily paid for another specialty cocktail or two (but in the actual venue) not the lobby. We definitely recommend experiencing House of Spirits -especially with a small group of friends!

There were two sections, the welcoming B&B in partnership with CBS and the show 'Ghosts' which smelled like pumpkin spice and everything nice, with the occasional possession and haunting. Then you're taken across the street for the real show and that's where Creep shines. The poetic storylines, the terrific acting and staging, the interaction, and new ideas all reminded me of the early days of Delusion which is a huge compliment. Your group of 8 is small and intimate and you feel absolutely immersed. Be prepared to be touched, whether you are taking an actor's hand or they are gently leading you somewhere, but nothing over the top. I'm so glad it's back and as good a Creep LA as ever was! Parking is neighborhood street parking, not best area but you should be able to find something.

A review of Creep x Ghosts 2024…read more I had always heard about this company over the years, but never had a chance to check it out until this year. I had considered going to another haunt, but the prices were out of my range. Creep was a comfortable $70 per person and I was lucky to grab some tickets as they were selling out. I really didn't know what to expect, but the least I can say is that I was completely blown away. The absolutely expert crafting of this experience, everything from the story to the acting to the timing to the setting, was incredible. First I was curious, then unsettled, then worried, then SCARED, and then nearly welling up with tears. These actors are so committed and every character feels so full. The way they looked into my eyes had me deeply moved and I was immersed for the entire hour we were inside. Every person in my group was interacted with and enveloped in the story. This sort of art needs to be deeply appreciated and supported in Los Angeles and I'm so grateful to all the people that put their hearts and souls into this. Thank you JFI Productions!

I would absolutely not recommend coming to this pop-up (which closes this coming weekend) because I was cheated by and yelled at by the security guards for over two hours. Here are the highlights: 1) The security guards repeatedly let groups of people cut, so that I was always at the back of the line. My boyfriend and I waited over two-and-a-half hours outside on Hollywood Boulevard, and on three occasions, the security guards ordered the people toward the back of the line to "keep walking backward." Each time we were forced to walk backward, the line was shuffled, and people were allowed to cut, making it impossible to advance in line. I eventually was admitted into the event as one of the last five people before they closed for the night. 2) The guards treated us like prisoners, repeatedly yelling, "Get your backs up against the wall!" They kept shouting this even though we already were standing against the wall, and no one in line was causing problems. It was extremely insulting and humiliating. 3) The guards let in the standby line before the priority access line, and then lied to me about it. People who have purchased IMAX movie tickets to IT 2 are supposed to have priority access, per the event website. The guards also told us this, so we bought tickets and got into the IMAX line. But the guards ended up letting in the non-ticket holders AN HOUR BEFORE US. When I asked Caleb, the Toomer Security manager, about this, he didn't have an explanation and then a very terse guard jumped in and told me (lied to me) that the non-ticket holders were going to a holding area and not inside; he assured me since we had IMAX tickets we would still go in before them. I knew this was a lie because I then saw the non-ticket holders inside the venue, as I could see through the gaps of the exterior wall. 4) Once we got to the entrance we were then rushed to sign a 2-page legal waiver in tiny print. Also, no one checked our IDs or our IMAX tickets, even though Security kept telling us over and over we needed proof of being over age 17 and that we had paid for movie tickets. Why didn't they give us the waivers while we were waiting so long in line? When we finally made it inside the pop-up, it was fun (though not the 40-minute experience advertised; it was more like 20 minutes), but not worth the experience of a completely unfair line. I'm so angered by how Toomer Security treated my boyfriend and me at this pop-up, that I am canceling and refunding my IMAX tickets because I don't want to support anything that has something to do with the IT 2 pop-up experience.

Toomer, the security company hired for this event, ruins this experience…read more Harassment, yelling, lying, apathy and disregard for decency-and you get to deal with it for more than 2 hours as you wait in line. Expect constant anxiety as you have to deal with these people yelling at you nearly every minute for those 2+ hours. Caleb, the manager, obviously did not have a handle on his crew nor have any idea how to manage or plan for the event or handle the people attending. His team spent the night yelling at the crowd, barking orders for them to, "GET UP AGAINST THE WALL" in the way you'd hear a cop yell at a criminal he's been chasing down. You heard this yelled at you non-stop for over 2 hours, even if you were already up against the wall. We were also constantly told to turn around and walk another 300 feet down the block. But this was done all through yelling, without any sort of guidance or order. The result was each time we had to shuffle the line down the block, groups of people thought they would take this opportunity to cut in line. The guards didn't care about this at all, and only cared that you were against the wall. When it was pointed out that 2 people joined the end of the line after it had already been closed, Caleb put the responsibility of kicking them out on his guard, rather than being a leader and taking the responsibility. We watched him go back and forth with the guard, not taking any action, even when the guard obviously didn't want to deal with the stress of something a manager should handle. We were also blatantly lied to. We were originally in a 100+ person line. Caleb told me that if we had IMAX tickets, we would get in early, and the IMAX holder line only had 20 people. Instead the security team began with the 100 person line, and then had the preferred line for IMAX holders go after them. I brough this up to Caleb only to have one of his guards cut me off, obviously trying to win brownie points with the boss. The guard lied to me, saying, "those people who went in aren't going to go in before you, they're just going to another line to wait". I could look through the fence and see them getting to play the games. Just lying to try to get people to shut up and obey. It was another hour after they got to go in before we even got to the gates. Eventually, when we got to the gates to enter, we were individually handed waivers to sign. This was a huge bottle neck in time. Why not just have people sign the waiver while they're already in line? You make us wait long enough as it is. Even though I bought my IMAX tickets, they didn't even check that. So anybody could have gone in, even though the security made such a big deal over it. They also never checked our ID, even though we also heard them make a big deal about being over 17 or having a guardian over 30. The team also had no idea anything about the event. People who came after the lines were closed were told by the guard, "you can't come in, this is it. You'll have to come back next year". Next year? Really? This attraction was open for at least another week at that point. This attraction desperately needed a marketing team. The real nightmare was in how the customers and potential movie goers were treated. Because of the horrible way the security team behaved towards me and the other people, I actually wound up cancelling my IMAX tickets and have a general apathy towards the IT franchise. This has left a bad taste in my mouth. And in the future, if I see any event with Toomer, I'm just going to leave for something better.

It started off late which is a major turn off. The doors were supposed to open at 11am and instead it was almost 1130 before they were opened. It was hot outside waiting in the sun and people could not help but complain. The location is great. Old town Pasadena area which is quiet, easy to find parking, and walking distance to a lot of shops and eateries. We found four dollar parking near City hall. The exhibit hall had a lot of makeup vendors, haunted attractions (new and old), Halloween merchandise for sale, and a few goodies. I did see the cake I want for my bday which was cool. I tried out the Alone experiment which was beyong bizarre! Needless to say, it has been removed from my bookmarks. I also went to the screening room a few times. It was always pretty empty. One of the TV shows called Acting Dead was pretty good. There was a short Thriller performance that was also a disappointment. Do not remix a classic. The haunted houses on site were submerged with fog machines that made it hard to breath in the rooms. Im glad I tried it out finally, but I dont think I will be returning unless there are significant changes and more vendors.

The "haunts" were little more than 30 seconds of walking through trash bag wall constructed mazes with little to no attempt to scare anyone. Seriously, they were HORRIBLE! I can't believe I bought VIP tickets to this "event" - I wouldn't even pay general admission prices had I known what a joke the entire thing was. The make and take sessions were so disorganized, started 10-15 minutes late and frustrating I walked away from both sessions that I signed up for. I spent most my time standing in line for 30 minutes whenever I wanted to buy a beer. And the evening "party"? Originally advertised to be 8pm-2am and later changed to midnight after the organizers themselves realized how much it sucked. I spent the first 20 minutes waiting in line at the small bar. Music was horribly dull by a semi-decent cover band. They kept begging people to dance and in fact they made people dance if they wanted to be eligible for the costume contest. I spent a huge amount of time, money and effort on my costume. At least a dozen people stopped me to pose for pictures. But since I don't care to dance to extremely unmotivating and spirit sucking music, I don't even get "tapped" for the costume competition. Look around, there are at most 60 people there and 40 of them are sitting in chairs like it's a middle school dance...
