Due to the pandemic, we had our wedding/nikah at the hotel cancelled. Muqaddas catering was so supportive and flexible. They accommodating us by having catering in our home. They did such a wonderful and profession job that it elevated the whole event. Their services single-handedly made our home nikah into a professionally done event that our guests say couldn't have been better even if the hotel was open. My in-laws are Pakistani and they were very fond of the Afghani food. Particularly the fresh cut lamb roast had to be the tastiest lamb I've ever had. All of the Afghani dishes were done beautiful with a full variety and stunning presentation. The fruit bar and the watermelon carving elevated the whole dinner table. Besides the great food, I want to also note the wonderful service we received. My father-in-law is immunocompromised so we had to split the party into two sessions in order to minimize the gathering at one time. Muqaddas catering was so flexible, they were able to adjust to this when we notified them of this change 1-2 days prior to the event. They re-made all of the food, along with the wonderful and neat presentations so that each party had the full experience. We've had Afghan catering for past parties and events but this was the first time we had Muqaddas catering. It beats all the local competitors. I ordered food from them for 30 people and I choose menu no.3. First they told me they would deliver the food then they told me that I had to pick up the food which I said fine. I went to their restaurant and their next door grocery I did not have a good feeling because the place was uninviting and looked unclean. The guy brought out the food and put it in trunk of my van. We could not tolerate the smell of their meat which smelled so bad that I almost threw up. The food was so cold and tasted so bad. The meat in qabili was so old and the white rice(chalaw) was so old I don't know from how many days. I was taking this food to a friend's house I was so embarrassed and ashamed of taking a food like this and I had paid almost $600 which was not cheap.
