Edging not properly staked down, complete sections of my flower bed not done, and just shotty unprofessional work. 6 times I had Hudson Bros come out because their work was sub-standard. Each time I asked for them to knock on my door when they finished so that I could inspect the work. Each time, they didn't. This seems to be standard practice because they don't want to run away from the poor job they put their names behind. I now have a poorly done flower bed and much more headache than I ever wanted. If you're looking for quality lawn service, this isn't it. You would be better off hiring literally anyone else.

Despite two years of treatments and a lot of money spent, our lawn has never looked worse. Most recently, after three applications within six weeks, it's still full of weeds, and they just couldn't get it under control. Ironically, ours is one of only two professionally treated lawns in the neighborhood (the other lawn is not treated by CT) and ours looks by far the worst. When we brought this to their attention, they blamed it on environmental factors. I'm sorry, but we hired you to work around the environmental factors--that's your business. For reference, what you see in the photos is all over our lawn. We've since fired Coastal Turf and decided to take care of it ourselves. Honestly, it can't get any worse.

Came on a Thursday and installed the tub without the required rim boards which is required by the installation instructions and was discussed in writing prior. When I reminded him day before they must be installed his response was "we know". Then they didn't install. Quite the attitude for what's the come.... He came back out on Friday to add the boards and reinstall. While I'm at work him and his counterpart text me multiple times job is complete now and they want payment. He threatens to sue me for payment on Monday...again this is the SAME DAY they finished within a couple hours since the job is "complete". Stephen sounded like a desperate money hungry psychopath in my opinion. Alarm bell starts ringing.... I tell them especially since previous days misinstallation I will inspect it and water test before paying them. They try making excuse that "you also can't use water until tile is installed". What a lie! Thank goodness I didn't listen. So the next morning I cut off the tube he had blocked and ran the water and guess what? It leaking like a wide open sieve and damaged the ceiling below. (Video below) Long story short I had to hire an actual plumber who tore out and redid all their shoddy work. The plumbing they did to the spout didn't meet code either and was off center. No washer or propert sealant was installed on the tub drain which is why it leaked. Was also installed way off center. No fasteners were installed in the tub either. It's hard finding ANYTHING that was done properly. He even had the gall to state "you telling us how to do the work and I'm just wondering why you just didn't do it yourself?? We did a good job at a fair price." I regret hiring them and wouldn't recommend...to say the least. Photos and video below. Based on previous reviews he's going to say this is "Fake" and he never worked for me. He doesn't do contracts? Just to get ahead of that....I've posted our contract on my post on Nextdoor. He's also not licensed in the state of South Carolina to perform plumbing work..... this is ILLEGAL. He lies on multiple platforms. He claims Chris is his employee also a tech then he says later he's unaffiliated with him. Never met anyone this untruthful.

I could not say enough wonderful things about the thorough service I received from Ryan. He was on…read moretime and called in advance to make sure I would be there as well. I have hired a few handymen in the past and more than once they never have all of the tools or forget a part and they have to make a second trip, not him! He had all of his tools and was very prepared. He was also very honest with his prices and his advice. I had requested three services: tv mounting, hook up of washer and dryer. My dryer was not compatible with the electrical outlet and although he spent time on it because it could not be installed he did not charge me since the task could not be completed. So if you are looking for a handyman that is honest, thorough and does great work use him! I will be having him come back out for more work on my house to hang some curtains in my sunroom!
