They received a late notification that the property had been cited for a code violation for the house/yard which had piles of lawn and other debris, and was generally overgrown with weeds and garbage. Unfortunately for my parents, they received the notice late since it was sent to the rental property residents who didn't address the issue or contact the owners. The city gave them a two-week extension to get everything cleaned up. Living out of state and not familiar with many landscaping companies, I reached out to Mr. Nieto with C&N Services who had helped us out previously with this property in March of 2021. Just like on that other occasion, he responded to our call very quickly and arranged to go out the very next day to assess the situation for us. Carlos did a substantial yard cleanup for us, including removing junk and trash, taking out dead shrubs and plants, redoing a front garden bed and putting in a few low maintenance plants, mulching, mowing, and edging. His crew also came back on a second day the same week to take down an old, partially dead tree in danger of doing damage to the house in the future, and tree trimming. We plan to continue using C&N lawn service for regular mowing moving forward to keep the property in compliance with the city, and keep it looking nice for the neighborhood. From the very first call I made for an estimate, through to the final cleanup, Carlos was prompt, polite and professional. The C&N Services team and Mr. Nieto really came through for us once again. If you need a knowledgeable, well-organized, and efficient team of professionals to work with you on your tree and lawn care I can wholeheartedly recommend C&N Services and Carlos Nieto.

As I mentioned previously, Carlos was a great contractor when it came to cutting down the trees. My yard was too soft to move the heavy trunks and he let them sit there for weeks and weeks. I asked if he could just mulch them and he said yes but didn't do anything, and then hauled them away. He said he'd come back to fix the fence he pulled down. I had to threaten to hire someone else and bill him before he finally came out. He said he'd fix it quick so the dogs wouldn't get out and he'd come back, but ghosted me. Gave me a sob story about his divorce and moving and having to take on more work, but who DOESN'T have struggles?! My fence is embarrassing and I've had to get quotes from other companies and work a side job to save up to have it fixed. If you hire him - pay the deposit, but withhold the last 25% until he's ACTUALLY done. He'll ghost you otherwise.
