They left supplies everywhere for me to clean up. I still cannot open my oven drawer. The floor was cut around the stove so grease etc falls UNDER the flooring. It was built up so drawer does not open. Left nails, screws flooring chips on my Proform treadmill. It has not worked since. They sent a guy back out who did not speak English to 'fix the problems' he looked them never returned. The flooring transitioms began coming up 10 days later December 2025. It's September 2026. My flooring and treadmill and Oven drawer is terrible. The center of the floor looks good in the middle of the room. You trip over transition going into bathroom and bedroom. I even had another room to do when they fixed those problems. No Harv, no fix, no treadmill. The guys drove from Charleston and were exhausted. I requested at least one person being extremely fluent in English. Did not happen. I am very sad to write this review. I only wanted a nice, safe floor for friends and family. I had to stop payment after 7 months, they told me if I called the bank and cancelled it they would then come out (after 7 months) We had a fix it appt in May which did not happen. Floor and Decor is also at fault in this transaction and takes no responsibility as Harv (is a third party) Floor and Decor gave them White quarter rounds for a brown wall which looks ridiculous. The quarter rounds from 60 years ago which lasted and looked good are better than these. The NEW ones already look bad. I am not even sure how that is possible. I would go anywhere but Floor and Decor for advice. I was so excited to finally save money to create a better space. I went to the store about 6 times. Only one manager seems to care but do not follow through. Maybe they did not have to, it would certainly have brought repeat business. Use a local local local company for your floors. Harv specifically told me they were in Columbia when I asked them sent a tired team from Charleston.

I've had my walls painted in the den, living room, hallway, and entry hall. the painter also painted my cabinets on site, and did an amazing job. He indicated he didn't know what type paint the contractor used, because it wasn't oil based because when he sanded it, it had a powdery feel to it, oil base wouldn't do that. He also stated if I hadn't painted my cabinets, I wouldn't be able to wash them. They were not smooth, and had a dull finish with powdery substance on it. On a second note, he stated that the contractor did a great job with backsplash, Mosaic, flooring, building cabinets, and did a good job painting walls and ceilings, and didnt need a redo, and I agree. I paid the contractor $1350 for the painting of the rooms, and $2500 for the painting of the cabinets. Once again it is sad that the contractor cannot contact me concerning these issues or take responsibility. But if he can live with it so can I.

Our carpets upstairs were nasty and had been in the house since it was built. They needed replaced badly. We decided to go the hardwood route upon hearing how easy he makes the process. He gives you a time line along with names from trusted sources who will move furniture and replace it once the work is complete. He also meticulously matched the bottom floors with the new ones on the top floor. He did the closets also. If you are unsure or hesitant on what you want he will guide you. From the very first consultation to the final installation, the entire process exceeded my expectations in every possible way. Greg Hoffman and his team demonstrated true professionalism - punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to what I wanted for my space. During the selection process, they took the time to explain different quartz options, color variations, edge profiles, and maintenance tips, which made me feel confident in my decision. They never rushed me and genuinely cared about helping me choose something that fit both my style and budget. The showroom was well-organized, and the staff was patient as I evaluated multiple samples and asked more questions than I can count. Once I placed my order, communication remained excellent. I received updates at every stage- templating, fabrication, delivery and installation - so I always knew what to expect. The installers arrived on time, treated my home with care, and worked with impressive precision. Watching them fit each piece perfectly to match the grain was like watching true craftsmanship in action. The finished countertops are absolutely stunning!! The quartz has transformed my kitchen / bathroom into a space that feels modern, clean, and high-end! The seams are practically invisible, the polish is flawless, and the quality is obvious the moment you step into the room. Friends and family have already commented on how beautiful everything looks, and I honestly couldn't agree more! What really sets Universal Marble & Granite apart, though, is the pride they take in their work. It's rare to find a business that combines exceptional products with such a committed, customer-first approach. I truly feel like they went above and beyond to ensure I was happy every step of the way. If you are considering a hard-surface counter-top, I wholeheartedly recommend Universal Marble & Granite . They deliver top-tier materials, expert craftsmanship, and outstanding customer service. A solid five-star plus experience from beginning to end!!

The stone sample I initially reviewed showed little to no visible discoloration. Unfortunately, the actual slab installed in my home has significant color inconsistencies on both sides of the stove that resemble burn marks. There is also a crack at the sink that appears to have been covered rather than properly addressed, along with multiple chips in the stone surrounding the sink. Additionally, the two seams do not line up properly. The seam on the actual countertop is positioned several inches away from the corresponding seam on the backsplash, resulting in an installation that looks poorly planned and unfinished. I have made repeated attempts to have these issues addressed, but my concerns have largely been dismissed. I have been waiting for more than a month to hear directly from the owner regarding a reasonable resolution, only to ultimately be told, in essence, that nothing would be done. The most frustrating part of this experience has been the lack of accountability after payment was made. My experience has left me feeling that the level of attention and customer service I received before the sale was very different from what I experienced afterward. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I strongly encourage prospective customers to thoroughly inspect the finished product and, before making final payment, get clear assurances regarding how installation defects, damage, and quality concerns will be handled.
