I visited the wedding venue several times with the bride. Denise, the manager, was often late and…read moreseemed disorganized. The venue had cleanliness and maintenance issues, including garbage, chipped paint, and wasp infestations. On the day of setup, the cleaners were unprepared, and Denise was absent. We faced numerous problems, including dirty linens, missing tables, rotten food being left behind from a wedding the month prior, dead rodents and wasps during the rehearsal. Denise's unprofessionalism continued on the wedding day. She was late, causing breakfast delays, and refused to bring food to the bridesmaids' room trying to send a maintenance worker to a room where women were getting dressed. One of the kitchen ovens did work and because of a water issue our Chef had to use bottled waters to start the food. AC issues persisted, and the bartender was rude to the bridal party and its guests. The wedding package was also mishandled with a last-minute beer change. In summary, Southridge Estates has potential but needs better management and upkeep. Denise's unpreparedness and rudeness created unnecessary stress for the bride, highlighting the need for improvements in professionalism and venue maintenance.

She was incredible from start to finish. I had my twin infant babies with me, and Taylor made sure the bridal suite was fully prepared so they could stay with me the entire day. She provided hot water for warming bottles, put up a sign to ensure privacy, and checked in constantly to make sure we had everything we needed. She was always kind, attentive, and went above and beyond in every way. Working with her was an absolute joy, and she truly made our wedding day run smoothly. The only cons we experienced: * Transportation: When we booked the venue, we were told getting Ubers wouldn't be a problem, especially since we opted for the open bar. On the night of our wedding, some of our guests weren't able to get an Uber back to their hotel in Auburn. Thankfully, the security guard was kind enough to drive them back since they were the last guests without a ride, which we deeply appreciated. * Food selection: While the venue offers a lot of menu options, you're limited to tasting only what's served at the Wedding Extravaganza. They mentioned these events happen twice a year, but even though we booked our wedding more than a year in advance, we were only invited to one. Because of that, we had to choose dishes we weren't able to taste, and the options we did try at the extravaganza weren't great. * Cake: The vendor partnered with the venue provided a very dry cake, so we would suggest couples consider getting a cake from their own preferred bakery. * Contact: It was sometimes difficult to reach the venue by phone, as calls weren't always answered, though emails were always responded to promptly. Despite these issues, our overall experience, especially thanks to Taylor, was truly wonderful. The venue itself is breathtaking, and the support we received on our wedding day made it feel magical. We would absolutely recommend this venue, particularly for couples who want a beautiful location and a coordinator who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond.
