She was unaware of this so she called the manager to confirm. The manager then suggested that I should have included the 'special pricing' in my email. (Hrmm, I'm not sure if I agree with that.) For me a Banh Mi should be a crispy fresh-baked demi almost the shape of a pair of lips and stuffed as full as possible with goodies. This was basically a bit of a thin baguette sliced and filled quite thinly. For £5.50 it was a bit of a rip off considering a similarly underwhelming baguette sandwich can be got over the road at M&S for £3 or so.
