P&P DDS has been saving our families smiles for 30+ years. I'm 28 and still love going to Downers…read moreGrove for their Perfect Smile! Services. My sensitive teeth/gums, make it important to have a dentist trained in Anesthesiology that cares to ensure I have no pain whatsoever! If you are anxious about dental work like I am, know that everyone is very reassuring and calm. They offer safe Nitrous Oxide aka "laughing gas" or Oral Sedation & IV Sedation. The waiting lobby area has very comfortable chairs and fancy decor with many books and magazines. The dental rooms are clean and theme decorated; butterfly room, ocean room, bird room. As kids, we watched movies during our dental treatments, it was a great distraction and a wooden treasure chest full of toy prizes that we got to pick from as kids! I had a cleaning, cavity and crown recently done. The anesthetic is a little pinch on your cheek and Dr. P Jr. talks to you through it so you do not notice! I always close my eyes and want to be distracted since I am scared of needles! I have never even felt the needle here as they are super thin, like the ones for acupuncture, so just a little pinch and I'm 100% numb while my mouth is beautified :-) pain free! Dentists clearly communicate with dental assistants/staff, always check comfort levels throughout the appointment, and thoughtfully ask questions about how everything feels to make sure the experience is pain free during and after the dental appointment. I trust P&P DDS as they are a licensed referral dentist for sensitive individuals; those with hyperactive gag reflex, fear and anxiety, toothache treatment, TMJ headache, dental implants and offer cosmetic dentistry. It is a one stop dentist shop as they can help with everything. Our family is blessed to have found a trusted and experienced dentist. The friendly staff knows what is happening in our lives and book appointments around our busy schedules. For example - I started to have jaw pain during wedding planning, the staff were able to schedule me before a dress fitting. At the appointment Dr. P Jr. discovered I clenched my teeth at night! P&P DDS told me about mouth guards to sleep with when I felt more stressed and even scheduled teeth whitening for a bright wedding day smile. Now, I have no jaw pain and sleep much better! Even though I live in Chicago it is well worth the drive out of the city to see a great dentist! Our family highly recommends Provenzale & Provenzale, DDS! :-)

I called a multitude of dentists for an emergency appointment. They either had no availability until weeks later, were out of network, did not take any insurance, or were in vacation. Even my former dentist of 20 years, Darien Dental, did not even give me a call back! The only dentist who was on vacation, but had an extremely helpful receptionist was Dr. Ryan. This lady recommended that I try Grove Dental. I did call Grove, got an immediate appointment and am scheduled for an extraction. I am so far, very happy with Grove, however, should that feeling change, I know that I will be seeing Dr. Ryan. If he is as good as his receptionist (gosh, I wish I had gotten her name), I will be in great hands!

My Wife & I Started At Danada Dental In The 90's With Dr. Francis & The Awesome Hygienist Lynn…read more When Dr. Francis Left & Dr. Brink Joined DD, We Decided To Stay Because We Still Had Lynn For Our Cleanings. It Was A Bit Odd At First As Dr. Brink Would Make Procedure Suggestions But His Office Would Never Follow Up With What It Would Cost Us Out Of Pocket. My Wife Never Felt Comfortable With Dr. Brink And Changed Dentist Over A Decade Ago But I Unfortunately Didn't Get The Hint When He Failed To Bring His Tools To Install My Implant & I Had To Reschedule After Taking Time Off Work. Then Awesome Lynn Retired During Covid & I Was Going Thru A Surgery At The Time Where I Need Dr. Brink To Sign Off On A Dental Release, Unfortunately, I Felt He Took Advantage Of The Situation By Refusing To Sign Off Unless I Had A Tooth Removed That Was Not Loose. Eventually I Agreed As I Needed To Have The Surgery. Then One Day A Few Years Later, I Received A Bill That Was Not Itemized From DD For $557. Thinking This Was A Mistake As My Insurance Company (Aetna) Had Always Paid Everything In The Past, I Asked For An Itemized Bill Ledger Where I Found Out These Were Charges From A Few Years Before. It Took Hours Of Phone Conversations & Refiling With The Insurance Going Over DD's Billing Errors. DD Also Threatened To Put Me In Collections If I Didn't Pay In A Timely Fashion. Needless To Say, We Agreed To Part Ways In A Lesson I Should Have Learned Years Earlier. Last, When Talking To A Friend Who Had Used DD For 25+ Years Found Out That They Too Were Sent A Bill That Was Not Itemized AfterThey Moved To Another State. PLEASE BE AWARE, YOU MAYBE NEXT!
