The decor is very basic and its quite simply a house thats been remodelled into a place for the ravening horde. We went in a large group but the staff were able to handle it well. The coffee was great, probably one of the better ones that I've had from the different cafes we tried in the Whanganui/Palmerston North area. I had a soy late (the cafe uses Illy) and the flavour was well rounded and nicely flavoured and the soy milk wasn't over heated which was a blessing. Whilst we didn't have time to stop for long, the Cooperage is open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and with the added bonus of being connected to 2 different furniture/homeware stores its a lovely destination for a girls lunch date.
