And already this review is sounding very similar to the one of my middle school. I can't say that all teachers don't care care about their students but it is clear that the game of favorites plays a more than large role. The reason I'm even giving Littleton 2 stars is because the kids are very friendly and it's easy to become the hero of any sports team. For those of you who are competitive and want to play a sport at the next level. Do not go here. It's more about having fun and making yourself seem better than you really are.

The kindergarten teacher my daughter got actively bullied my daughter over lack of ability to read. My daughter is still bitter, luckily that teacher retired, she was never punished for her behavior. Luckily her first grade teachers actually cared and she was quickly diagnosed with dyslexia. The over all lay out works well, and there were many good teachers. The gifted teacher was amazing and made my daughters life and my sons life much easier. Over all the school was a good place for my kids to grow up, but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the teacher who builder my daughter didn't face any punishment.

My child has been here for 2 years now and Ms.Rhonda (the main secretary) has always been nasty and rude to not just me but other parents as well. One parent loudly asked her one day "why do you always pick on me & act nasty when I'm just walking my son to breakfast? Just stop it!" I can tell the secretary was embarrassed from the confrontation and everyone around looked like they wanted to applaud that mom. It felt like she took up for us all in a sense. The teachers are resourceful and nice, I'm just baffled how the principle allows someone with such a nasty demeanor represent the staff. The teachers tend to be republican along with many of the students however very few teachers make their views known to students besides the occasional slip up. The teachers for 7th and 8th are not the best but after that it tends to get better. One problem some might have is the closed campus. While there being a closed campus on its own is not bad the food there isn't good at all. Your only option to get a good meal is to make your own lunch and bring it to school but that isn't always an option. Also if you want to be able to spend time with your child then don't send them to develyn as the work load is over the top with the principal saying that 3 hours of homework should be the norm. Overall, if your child does not cope with stress well do not send them here. In the end I don't think that this school is right for most people.

This is the Elementary school I've attended for over the years until 5th grade. Though this school…read morehad its up and downs for me, the teachers were my best friends. The nurse was nice, and the food was decent. They had lots of fun games, learning centers and perfect techniques for helping their students exceed in all important school material. Ms. Gartrell was my teacher, she was so sweet. In second grade, I had Mrs. Jones (that's her married last name) and in fifth grade, I had Mrs. Macintyre !! Ms. Polk was funny and made lunch great for us. The computer teacher was kicking butt, though his breath constantly smelled like cigarettes. Cool guy though. The whole school was awesome and helped me succeed under the realities of the world. Oh God, I just remembered: Ms. Lordiay (bear with me I forgot to spell her last name) was crazy, but I'm glad I had her as a teacher.
