I appreciated the call because I was wondering. What the hold up was for one tire, but was in no rush. Picked up my car around 6:30, and the gentleman James who cashed me out was very pleasant and friendly and professional. Makes me feel confident to bring my car in for other maintenance in the future. Thank you for a professional experience on such a minor interaction.

After having a bad experience at another automotive shop around the corner, this was a great relief. Now I can worry less about wearing down my 2000km new KO2s too fast. How on earth was he going to find out the faults on any car without the scanner, it is a simple tool every mechanic uses, just a add on scam, So anyway, I reluctantly agreed as I need it fixed or at least told what was faulty and he told me that he is now cancelling the job because of my attitude, Won't use this company any more,

ACE mechanics (mobile) in Melbourne deserve 0/5. I paid $1500 to get my car serviced and that…read moreincluded new brakes and rotors. After the service, I noticed a grinding sounds coming from my brakes. I contacted ACE and they sent a different technician out to "fix" the issue. Nothing changed, however the mechanic told me it can take a "few days" for the brakes to wear in - mind you, I know nothing about cars so took his word for it. 10 days later, the grinding sound remained so I called again. This time, they sent the original mechanic to my work to "fix" the issue. He spent approximately 30 mins with my car and advised me that he put a little grease on the brakes and he test drove it and the issue was fixed...it was for a whole day. I called again to report that the problem is still there and the receptionist was so rude, she said it is an intermittent issue when clearly the issue started after my brakes were changed as the issue was not there before. She offered for a mechanic to attend a 4th time but I declined as I have completely lost faith in this organisation and capability of its employee. Stay far away from this place, especially if you're a woman!
