While I waited, I called the number listed on their storefront to verify if someone was on their way or if I was waiting for no reason. No one answered--the call just rang a handful of time and ended with a voicemail box message. I waited until 10:22 am when I decided to call it quits. It also feels super safe bc the 23rd Precinct (Police Station) is right next to it with a ton of cop cars all on this block. And if you are tired of this world of technology and using apps, giving your credit card info for hackers to get to, and having to download yet another app on your cell phone, this is the place for you! Quarters only. Costs as of 10/19/23: $2.50 small load, $3.75 medium load, $4.75 large load. Dryer: $0.25 per 5 minutes so 30 minutes costs $1.50 if you need math fast here. There are a total of 15 washing machines, 18 dryers, 10 carts to move wash from washer to dryers. They have a nice folding table. Everything is clean and there is no mold or foul odor. It's a great experience bc you can watch one of the 2 TVs while you wait. The TVs have volume plus cc TV so you can read what's being said and listen. There is a free bathroom for customers, free wifi, and there's AC when it's hot and heat when it's cold. Today it was 60 degrees and they had the AC on to keep it from feeling humid so that was really nice while it was not cold blasting AC either which would feel very uncomfortable. They have a massage chair that costs $2 for 10 minutes and $5 for 30 minutes so get a nice massage while you wait for your laundry. There's a vending machine w drinks and snacks but my dollar didn't work and the nice attendant said the machine was not working whether you put bills or coins. I was looking fwd to my favorite childhood cookie - Lindens Butter crunch. Next time. They wash and fold your laundry based on weight. They also sell detergent. assumed incorrectly that the very nice staff person/attendant spoke Spanish due to this area having many Spanish speakers. But to my surprise and hers we both didn't speak Spanish . She said sorry she didn't speak Spanish and I said sorry I don't speak Spanish. But she spoke French. Never assume anything . Just a great place to get your laundry done and to watch a streaming movie w their WiFi or watch the news on TV while you wait.

I can stuff them full and they are crystal clean coming out. 28 min for wash and a heavy load can usually dry I'm 40-45 min. The washers are $4.50, $6, and $8 as size. I believe it was 35 cents per 8 min of dry. Also go in the weekday and it will be empty, crowded on weekends *I originally gave this place 5 stars, but it says on their flier on yelp that it will be open until midnight every night, but I went at 9:30 pm the other night and it was closed. I called this service and they arrived on time and everything seemed to be okay. They were due to arrive and drop off my clothes by 1pm the latest. I waited in my house while checking my buzzer system camera periodically for them. 1pm came, no laundry. Then by 2pm I received an email asking me to rate my service. I realized that I would only receive such email AFTER my clothes were dropped off. But I received no clothes. Now i'm panicking and calling them asking where my clothes were. The lady who does the drop off and pick up and washes the clothes couldn't give me an answer. I was literally IN TEARS because ALL of my infants summer clothes were in that bag and most of mine too. Now I'm thinking my clothes are gone forever. The lady proceeded to tell me she dropped my clothes off and K wasn't home. I explained to her I've been home all day and that the building located next door to mine is identical to my building. I asked her to please come back and double check that she didn't drop it off at someone else's home in the next building. She said she wasn't crazy, she made no mistake and called me a liar. She then told me she would call the police and have them come to my home and she would meet me there with them. I agreed because at that point I just wanted my babies clothes. Those were thousands of dollars worth of clothes! Fast forward, I go to wait outside for the lady and the police and no one ever shows up. I called her back and I got yelled at for "inconveniencing her". I had to wait on my stoop for 30 minutes with my sleeping 10 month old in my arms in the heat. A lady just so happens to walk past my building & tells me that she lives in the next building and there's a bag if clothes blocking her door. Would I happen to know who lived in my building (my apartment) I had to thank GOD AND JESUS that my clothes were found. I had to go in her building, sleeping baby in my arm and carry an 80 pound bag of laundry back down her steps and then back up my steps and in my house with my daughter in my arms. I cried THE ENTIRE way. I called the laundry lady back to tell her that she delivered to the wrong building and they sent my calls to voicemail. I told her I need a refund for my inconvenience because even if she would of came back and helped le find my clothes I would of at least been okay with that because human error occurs. But they did not care and they had nasty attitudes the entire time. And to make things worse she called me a scammer and a liar and denied my refund and questioned ME about HER mistake. I will NEVER use this service again. They are disgusting and rude and she is convinced that she doesn't make delivery errors so God forbid she looses your clothes? Not only will she not help but she also won't refund you. Smh
