Called them and emailed them over 6 times to confirm an appointment for estimates on the house. First, they suggested a date that I agreed with to only get an excuse as to why it wasn't booked. Second, they reconfirmed a date and missed it. Third, called again (on the day of appointment) to ask about the estimate and they said they'd check in on it; I did not receive a call back. Called.....emailed... I don't know what's going on. Inquired about replacing the entire 2600 sq/ft house with sunroom and they're MIA. If you're busy, I'd get it. read more

I contacted Muhler 2/6/2023 to get a quote for replacement of 7 windows in my home. On 2/17/2023, George came out and measured the windows and told me I only needed to replace 6 windows. That quote cost me $150.00. It took about 3 hours for the measurements, so I didn't question the cost. The cost of materials for the job was over $2,000 and they collected that at the time I placed the order. It took until 5/11/2023 for John and George to come to replace the windows only to find out there was something wrong with all the windows with the exception of the 1/2 round glass, which they did replace that day. On 6/27/2023, they came out and replaced the windowsl. There was, however, another issue. All of my windows have a 6 pane configuration and one of the replacement windows had a 9 pane configuration. Today on 8/1/2023 they brought the proper 6 pane configuration window. They then charged the $675 labor. I will note that I asked for some consideration ($$) for the mess-ups that were all Muhler and was told they could not. I would not recommend Muhler for anything. One of my neighbors came over after they left today to get information to use Muhler for their windows. After hearing this fiasco, they will not be contacting Muhler. read more

Replaced all of our windows and a patio double door. 13 windows and 1 double sliding door of there best top of the line product. After only 4 years 2 windows fogged up so bad you can't see out of them. No problem we thought with Muhler's life time guarantee. A joke! First we call Muhler about the problem and are told it will cost $90. for them to come out and inspect there defective product. After they came out and inspected, we are informed it will cost another $150.00 dollars for them come back to replace there defective product. I contracted with Mueller Co to enclose my 12 /20 screened porch on January of 2018 for the cost of 47,000.00. The work finally began in early May and as of February 8, 2019 the porch enclosure is only 2/3 of the way complete! Every excuse for delays have been told to me. They are missing in action for weeks at a time with no communication! This company is poorly managed, disorganized, and how they are still in business just amazes me. They will never make the original delivery window they committed to and you will spend a significant amount of time trying to find out when your product will be installed. Muhler came highly recommended to me for a windows project I was working on. I got all the exact measurements. I went to the store and spoke and consulted with them three times before finalizing my order and putting down half of the payment. I asked them if they had an idea of when the windows would be ready for pick up and they said around mid to late January (this was in mid December). I signed the paperwork and then I waited. And waited. By January 27, I decided it was time to check on the status. I went there (with doughnuts) to get an update and they said someone would call me back. I then got the run around that they were trying to find the delivery guy and they would call me back soon with more information. No call back. The next day I called again and they again said the gentleman will call me back. He finally called me back that day and they told me THEY NEVER PLACED THE ORDER!!!! Somehow! I demanded to speak to the owner and again was told that the owner would call me back. Never got a call. I called again today wanting to speak to the owner and they said someone was going to call within the hour. I finally got a call back however it was not from the owner but they were going to refund me the money I put down. When I asked how long it would take to get the order done if placed today and they said they are backed up and it would take SIX WEEKS!!! I declined and got my money back. I had tried to speak to the owner to give him a chance to explain himself before I wrote this review, but it never happened. If you know you messed up, why wouldn't you put my order ahead of whomever was in line!! I wasted valuable time and money because of this. On top of this, they quoted me $2200 for the project and after this fiasco, I found a general contractor that was willing to do it for a much better price with labor included. read more

The salesman told me installation of 20 quality replacement windows would take just a few days and could be installed within the time requirements I needed. Once I signed the contract the whole job went downhill. The installation did not take place within the time period promised, windows were mismeasured and delayed the completion of the job, and the installation was poor quality. What should have taken a few days turned into a several month disaster. The company refuses to return phone calls and will not communicate. The BBB is now involved. Let the buyer beware! read more

We had our windows replaced in 2003. At that time, we received three estimates and chose Muhler because we believed that they were the most reputable company. We were told that we had a life-time warranty and that it was transferrable if we sold our home, our paper work states this too. Over the years, we have one window where the mechanics, a plastic part, has broken and the window will not stay up on it's own and one window that the gas has leaked causing a spotted mess. I phoned Muhler several times and wrote a letter to them asking for them to stand by their promise. They told me that the contract was with the window manufacturer, Accu-Weld and that they were no longer in business. As of today, no one from Muhler has contacted me to help with the two windows. I was very disappointed that a big company like Muhler would not stand by their promise and I would not recommend them to anyone. read more
