As we are from the East Coast, we have had our share of bagel sandwiches. The egg and cheese on the cheese/jalapeño was amazing. The bagel was a bit different than what we expected - bigger, a bit denser, covered with a slice of cheddar and sliced jalapeños. Not overly chewy not bready- a perfect balance. The coffee was also very good. The place is designed as a drive-through grab and go, however the staff (owner?) let us sit in the back and enjoy our meal before hopping on our bikes. Just delightful.

A kind and honest person brought it to the cashier, who then gave it to the manager. We used Google to determine the name of the truck stop and obtain a phone number. After discussing the contents with the manager, he agreed to go to the post office and have it shipped to us via two-day service (the fastest they had to our location). We paid for the shipping out of the cash in the purse and we received the purse in two days with nothing missing. The manager Jim also provided us the receipt with the change from the shipping costs. What incredible customer service!!! We offered him some cash as a reward, but he refused it. We really feel blessed to have received this type of service and honesty by all involved.

The sour and the seltzers were by far our favorite. I am not much for any seltzer...but I added a little flavor in one of these and by golly it was the best thing ever. I'm sad its so far away as this would be a game changer. They even have a 32 oz pretzel...i mean it doesn't even seem that crazy in writing until you see that size pretzel in person. Its huge!!! The employees were friendly and kinda. Merch was honestly just okay! I had hoped for them to really push the upper hand merch but it wasn't what I thought it was going to be. Either way, we rolled out of there with a sweatshirt and some slap koozies. Great stop and well worth checking this place out. Also great patio and overall vibe.

So, we took a drive up to Midway General Store, which was very close to the cabin. Owners Erica and Mike were amazing; they were very friendly and candid. Well, no, we ended up buying the whole store. What I think is neat, they will display individuals' handmade goods to sell, so those folks passing by can buy them. On another note, the ice cream they sell is beyond amazing. I usually get sick with inflammation from ice cream because of the dairy, but surprisingly, this ice cream did not make a dent, and I was able to enjoy every bite. The ice cream is locally made, I cannot remember the name, but I should have taken a photo because they have it is displayed.
