We loved this little bakery for our family Sunday brunch. The servers were very friendly and spoke English. They helped us find a shopping center too. I had the latte macchiato and the eggs and bacon with toast and the most amazing pancakes with syrup and cream and pistachio. Good interior, excellent selection of gourmet pastries. Recommend the brownies. There was no outdoor sitting as the sidewalk is very narrow. Staff is nice and attentive. read more

Great breakfast place--had an americano, apple pie and yogurt with muesli here just to have something besides a croissant that most places serve. It was just what I wanted, though next time I might come on Sunday for a warm breakfast like the English or veggie breakfast! read more

A pretty good cafe in a touristy part of Trieste. Popular even in off-season, so the seating might be in short supply. The pastries are good, the coffees are quite drinkable.The crowd is a mix of tourists and locals. The interior is quite Americanized, from the relatively open floor layout that allows strollers to be parked next to some of the tables to the music (a mixture of swing and blues during my visit). A good place to sit down and briefly relax while strolling in Trieste. If you sit down, the service is not very fast, so in a rush just do what the locals do: gulp your espresso at the counter. read more
