Whet to muffler man to have my bearings changed. Fast forward a week, I have my oil changed amd an inspection done on my vehicle just to find that the work they said was done was, in fact, not done. When I went back to Muffler Man, they looked at my vehicle and told me some of the wall bull and pretty much told me to get bent. read more

About a month ago , I took my 2004 Toyota Camry in for a diagnosis at the Caro location, after hearing a bit of a noise that just begun in the exhaust system. Before I was due to pick it up after work, I received a phone call from them. The gal that works the counter there told me she had bad news to tell me as the exhaust pipe was leaking at the manifold and it would be $1600 to replace it. This was because the pipe is only available in one piece for that car and that was the only way I could fix the problem. However not to worry as it did not affect the driveability of the vehicle and the noise may stop as the engine warms and expand. But after driving it another two days , the problem got worse and it sounded so loud , like a complete exhaust failure. Well I had a friend jack it up and what he found was the flex pipe blew out. I ordered a new one off of Amazon for $25.99 and paid him to put it on. I never bother to tell them that I used to work at the auto parts for 10 years and more than 30 yrs in the automotive industry, I just go along with what they have to say. Sad that they are not the business they used to be, and I used to be the one who brought them their parts years ago. A few years ago, I had my 2005 Mountaineer there to have them check it for exhaust noise as well and even then I was told that it was the exhaust manifolds and the price to fix it was out of this world. I continued to drive it. It turned out it was not the exhaust manifold, it was the timing chain was going in the engine. Sad. I am now buying a new motor for that one. read more

Very rude customer service! As I was telling the man at the counter that I would like an oil change he asked me what year my car was and stopped, looked at me then said "nevermind, you probably don't know." I should have walked out but didn't. When they were done I paid, signed and he didn't say a word about anything. I stopped in a month later to get a price on belt replacement and was greeted with another snarky, young man who began to ask me then stopped and said nevermind, walked out to my car because he thought I was completely ignorant. If your a man, they'll probably treat you good and the prices aren't bad. read more

Took my vehicle in for a electronic issue and was quoted a price based on what the book said as far as the time required for the job. However the job took much longer than the time actually allotted. When I picked up my vehicle the lady at the counter tried to make me feel guilty for the lost time spent on performing the job, however the problem still remained. The technician did not do or even recommend putting the vehicle on a diagnostic machine to further diagnose the possible issue. Why I asked myself, is that not part of doing the job to resolve any electronic issues? I spent money on a part that I apparently did not need and the labor to have the part installed along with having a guilt trip placed on me for the excessive time over and above what the book told them it should take to do the job. So what now? I still have the original problem and need the vehicle diagnosed to pin point the true issue, meaning having to spend still more. No recommendation from me for this business. read more
