Such a cute little pumpkin patch! My family an I really enjoyed visiting Muelrath. It is a petite farm, good for families. No entry fee and all their little activities are free. They have a small corn maze and a mini haunted house. Lots of photo opportunities for the kids. Hay bales to play on, tractor rides, and picnic tables scattered around to sit back and enjoy the area. There's even a little pond in the middle. People were super nice there, we were greeted as soon as we arrived and told of all their activities. This is an awesome pumpkin patch. We came here on a Saturday morning with our two boys. There are lots of activities for kids. The haunted house was incredible. It was pretty big and had lots of different attractions. It's too bad my boys were scared. There was a fun hay maze. A few families were having a birthday party. There was even a taco truck nearby. This is my second year in a row coming here! By far my favorite pumpkin patch in the Marin county/Sonoma area. I love that it is family operated and that all the pumpkins are grown onsite at the farm! The grounds are always wonderfully maintained and we LOVE the tram ride through where the pumpkins are grown. (We especially love how comfortable the ride is with the wooden benches instead of your typical bales of hay that most other pumpkin patches use). There is also a fun audio tour that plays while you are driven around the ranch. We also love the free haunted house, pumpkin cannons, and especially the pumpkin slingshot! The pumpkin slingshot wasn't running this year, but they had an awesome display of old turn of the century motors which was really neat to see. Looking forward to our visit next year! read more

Last year we were looking for a pumpkin patch to visit and I had told my partner I had seen some signs for one off Stony Point. So we hopped in the car and just started following the signs. We had no idea where we were going, it could have easily been a trap. We ended up at Muelrath Ranches thankfully. We were absolutely blown away by this spot. We thought it was brand-new but quickly learned it was not. We instantly fell in love with the layout, the family-friendly feel and it didn't feel like a gimmick. We bought all of our pumpkins for the season here as well as some squash to cook. Fast forward to this year and one of our friends sent us an address for his new favorite pumpkin patch... guess where it led to? We were super excited to make our way back out here. It looks like there were some more things to do this year or maybe we just didn't take it all in last year. The pumpkin cannon was up and working this time. that was really fun to watch. Sometimes they exploded, sometimes you weren't even sure they left the barrel. We grabbed several pumpkins and once again some fall cooking squash. We love it here. We will continue to recommend going off the beaten path and support this amazing ranch. read more

This was a good low-key location for young children and their families. They had a deceptively large haunted house that my 7-year-old was excited to run through a few times. There was a variety of pumpkins (pre-picked), with diverse sizes, shapes, colors, and types. Hay bales stacked to climb, some corn to run through (not quite a maze unless we missed that). We didn't do the pumpkin toss, but there was an opportunity to let a pumpkin fly via slingshot. It's a family run place with friendly and welcoming people working there. read more

Muelrath Ranches was one of the participants in the October 2019 Sonoma Farm trails. They set up the property for their fall pumpkin patch and according to the signage, will be open through the season for pumpkins and fall activities. Very nice family running the event and cute set up that included a small haunted house, corn maze and picnic tables to BYO lunch. They had a great variety of pumpkins at very reasonable prices and it's good to support local farmers. I noticed a sign that said they'll be hosting evening hayrides and activities for a small entrance fee on certain evenings through Halloween. Very glad I made this a stop on my Farm Trails route and enjoyed their fall layout. read more

We stumbled across this cute pumpkin farm on our drive. Audrey was very quick to greet us and tell us all we needed to know before heading into the farm! She got the haunted house ready for us, even though it was very close to closing time, so we could experience it. It was surprisingly big and there were spooky characters at every turn! They really nailed it. They have a great variety of pumpkins and it was really nice to go in the late afternoon/early evening to avoid the excessive heat. Review #173 - 2020 I didn't expect pumpkin patches to open up so early, but I'm so glad that Muelrath Ranches decided to since my daughter loves visiting pumpkin patches. The ranch was cutely decorated for their grand opening day and there were lots of pumpkin selections. There were only a few other customers there when we showed up at around 1:45 PM on Saturday, September 26th, so we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves. The only bad thing was the weather was about 95° out so we couldn't enjoy as much as we possibly could. The couple that owns the ranch are very friendly people! They made us feel very welcomed & even offered my daughter a Halloween treat. We took plenty of pictures as the place was very open and inviting. We bought a few tiny decorative pumpkins and some kabochas for me to cook later. Unfortunately, one happened to be too young so it didn't have much flavor, but it was nice & fresh. Plus, at just $0.99/lb for everything, it was a steal. I look forward to coming back again in the future. read more

This is our 2nd year going and we love it. The decor, the layout and all the Halloween exhibits are awesome. They have a hay ride, corn maze, hay maze and a well done haunted house. One of my fave touches is the flowers and Halloween decor for sale. I prefer older decorations so it's fun to look through the mostly second hand items. We tried this pumpkin patch for the first time this year, had a great time. In the midst of having fun, somehow an SD card with recent family photos slipped out of my purse. The next day, we went back looking for it and left our number. The owners found it and called us. So wonderful they went above and beyond. We will come back for years to come! read more

Very cute little pumpkin patch with a wide range of pumpkins for sale. The prices are good. Tiny pumpkins are $1-3, and the largest ones are about $25. The bounce house is $2 for 10 minutes, and the hay "pyramid" and hay tunnel were fun to play with. My son loved all the photo cutouts and he had a great time. The only problem is that they only accept cash and credit cards, and there are no ATMs nearby. I missed that on their website, so I didn't have enough cash to buy all the pumpkins we wanted. But I think we'll be back (with cash!) to get some more pumpkins closer to Halloween! read more

This place is very cute and quaint. It was a little bit smaller than I expected but we still had fun. I appreciate that they have a lot of things to do that are free or incredibly inexpensive. The only thing we had to pay money for was their little haunted hay maze ($1 per person). It can get very pricey when you go to pumpkin patches as a family and this place doesn't break the bank. They offered free tractor rides which was cool. There was also a "corn maze" if you could call it that. It was a little on the sad side but we still went through it and had fun. It's just not much of a maze and more just like two rows of corn to walk back and forth through. But hey, it was free so what the heck! :) They had sunflowers, a TON of various types of pumpkins, gourds, and so much more. It was really cool to see all the different pumpkin types, some are beautiful and honestly, a few are hideous lol. The only thing that was expensive was the pumpkins. With most of everything being free, I kind of expected that. Also, a lot of the pumpkin variations are very unique, not like the typical pumpkin we see in stores, so that may add to the price as well. This place is on a farm and located by a lot of other farms so there are flies literally everywhere, it was overwhelming in some spots. The best thing was probably the pumpkin launcher. That thing was amazing, it was so fun to watch them get it all started and load it up with pumpkins. Man, that thing blasts them SO much farther than you'd expect. They straight up disappear. It was a lot of fun and everyone really enjoyed that, I think it ended up being the highlight of our evening. Overall it was very cute and we had fun. read more

Not sure why this has no ratings, but my family almost accidentally ended up here to get pumpkins and it was a huge hit. They have a lot of pumpkins (fresh with green stems), a hay ride (tractor pull through fields), hay pyramid (see pic), an amazing and truly scary haunted hay maze, and jumpy house. Entrance and everything free except bouncy house ($2). We live in East Bay, but will definitely come back next year! read more

This is a great pumpkin patch for kids without Heath issues. I took my niece with severe lung problems and there mask requirements signage is a joke. More then half the people we saw were mask less. Most of those turned out to family members or friends. I brought it to the owners attention but he was unconcerned because they were family and there "different" but everyone else should be masked. We have gone to this pumpkin patch for years but the total lack of care for at risk children and adults make me uncomfortable going back. It was quite easy to see her teach tube but they continued on mask less. I will report this to the health department first thing tomorrow. It a shame they care so little for others lives. read more

Cool little pumpkin patch. First time I've been to one since I was a little kid. Wanted to take my wife here cause she loves Halloween and everything about it. We ended up painting out pumpkins instead of carving them so not sure how the seeds or pumpkin tasted but they stayed greasy fir a pretty long time and the selection was really good. Ok parking and cool wagon to drag around to shop with. Only reason I gave it 4 stars is cause it was a little pricey, think I paid 55$ for 3 or 4 pumpkins read more

Visited here today. Not crazy busy, so sweet, and loved that a family ran it! The activities were between 1-2 each and everything was super child friendly. Loved that there wasn't a bunch of sugar for sale, too :) Two fairly large pumpkins were $35 which is a steal compared to other patches. read more
