So, we had to move our appointment to a different time next day. Then, what is usually a 2 hour grooming experience turned into 5 hours because they said someone called off and had not gotten a replacement in. When I picked up my dog, her hair was cut so unevenly with a few missed spots and cuts on her from the clippers. All of this for $70, and the very next day she smells like she never got a bath with whatever shampoo they used. NEVER GET A DOG GROOMED AT PET SMART, YOU WILL REGRET IT!

They don't take any of his crap here. I like that. He needs it. They are kind and he always is happy to see me but is never traumatized as he has been at other places. Over the Thanksgiving weekend, he needed his nails cut. Which seems like a pretty simple procedure. NOT for this baby. He has sensitive feet and absolutely hates having his nails cut. In and out in like 7 minutes with his nails being cut as much as any human could have without sedating this dog. I was pretty impressed. Many times groomers have sent him out without a trim because he was too much. Not this groomer. Again, didn't take any of his crap. And he got his nails trimmed. Like it. They also have an excellent selection of dog treats and toys. Cheap, at least by my standards. Yes, I know he is a lot of work but please keep taking good care of my baby!

The entire staff at Carlson's is exceptionally nice, and my daughter and I are slowly, slowly getting our very famous and headstrong beagle to be more focused, and slightly less ridiculous. The training could not be better, and the trainers are incredibly patient with us. I can't recommend them enough to anyone thinking of seeking dog training. The doggy socialization alone makes this a very worthwhile endeavor; the expert training staff makes it a bargain.
