The dining area is large with plenty of space between tables which was important since two in our party used walkers and there were other diners using motorized and manual wheelchairs. The place was fairly crowded - maybe 3/4 full by the time we left. Service was fast and friendly ... our pizza arrived quickly and additional drinks arrived in less than two minutes after we asked. I'd give Pizza Works five stars if they offered anchovies but we'll still be back.

He was interested in the description of "wood fired pizza". So we went to taste it. What I didn't know in advance, but what he explained on the way to Marceline is this is also the birthplace of Walt Disney. And when Disney was creating Disneyland in California, and designing Main Street USA, he was using Marceline as his blueprint. The bun seemed to be a focaccia bun that had a crusty top, so it was crunchy on the outside and soft and tasty inside. There was a pasta salad on the side.
