Muddy Cow is our go to spot for our family when we have a large party. They are always able to accommodate us so I've been here a lot over the years. I even won a signed sports auction item for my hubby a couple of years ago. They have a weekly auction out on by an external local company. On this particular outing, there was a host at the entrance and we had a party of 8. Sometimes there isn't one and it says to seat yourself. I told him we had 5 adults and 3 kiddos. When he sat us he only gave us the regular menus - so I had to grab my own kid menus myself at the host stand. Then he also said - you'll have to ask another table to borrow a chair - this combined table only has 7 chairs. I politely asked him if he would ask the other table as a courtesy which he did. I am gfree and they have a lot of options with a gluten free bun you can do. I usually order the BLT burger or Cali Burger. Sometimes with the gfree bun sometimes not. I always upgrade to the side salad as my side which is delish with French dressing (no croutons). The quality of the food is really really good. One of my fav burger places in the twin cities. Another cool thing about the Muddy Cow - 2 for 1 drinks so on this particular visit I ordered a Suncruiser (pink lemonade) and totally forgot I would get 2. We also love the duck machine...which is also a highlight! $1 per craw grab. Also lots of tvs to watch sports.

Enjoyed a work happy hour at the Muddy Cow. The happy hour was fantastic 2 for 1s! Plenty of options on the menu including a wide variety of sides. We all enjoyed burgers. They ask how you want it cooked but they all seemed to come out the same, and mine wasn't medium. Tasty, friendly, attentive service. Easy parking. Would recommend and return.

Beware of the 2/1 drink special that goes on all the time! They are delicious though. Service was super fast despite there being like a million hockey families. Food was also delicious. Def would come again in the summer to chill out on the patio.

This place was surprisingly really good! I forgot to take a picture of my actual food but I got the wings and my friend got a double burger with bacon and Mac and cheese. Also just judging by the atmosphere it's awesome here! I'd definitely come back! They have free cheese puffs! Never seen that anywhere! Wish I could eat them but just for that this place has my heart!

Duck wontons. You get 6 and the sauce is fantastically amazing

Came in for the first time and was so impressed with not only the menu selection but the value and the service. The gal that waited on me took the time to share her favorites and others that come To frequent the restaurant. She lead me to a turkey club sandwich and the waffle fries. I also enjoyed the duck wontons which in my opinion were the best of all three. However everything was wonderful and the prices are spit in for the portion

My friends and I sitting in the dark trying to eat our food. Horrible service, below average food, and terrible experience.

We got take out and had excellent service and good food. Plus we didn't have to wait long.

On a beautiful day, we decided to make a stop for cocktails at The Velveteen. Upon arriving, we…read moreentered the door and descended dimly lit stairs, then passed through a stone hallway to reach the entrance. The wait at the table was longer than we anticipated but luckily for us, there were some bar seats available. The bartender at the moment was Cameron. He gave us the rundown on the food and drinks and made several recommendations. We started off the evening with the Don Corlone. It was very tasty and also an Andorran Martini. Both drinks were delightful and were semi-sweet but not too sweet. The mixture of the Don Corlione had a perfect blend of citrus and sweetness. We then ordered the pastry puff poppers and they were amazing. The sauce complemented the pastry puffs and the filling left you wanting more. To finish the night we ordered tiramisu, cheesecake, and some bubbles. Thank you Cameron for the amazing service and experience we hope to be back again soon.

Went the day before valentines day. Had a reservation for 9pm. The environment was great, but…read morethey ran out of over half the food items and closed the kitchen early (like 5 minutes after we got there) didn't get to order beefed to try something. Considering we wanted earlier and we took the reservation time they gave us, it was disappointing to not get to eat. The drinks were really fun (bartender was killin' it) and dessert was included in the kitchen so not available but did manage to finagle one of the 4 options and we got the strawberry cheesecake (friends not a strawberry fan but we were hungry) because they wouldn't serve the others or they were out. Really poor planning for such a busy 'date night' weekend. I loved the speakeasy feel and will go back for that. Hopefully we'll get to eat there the next time. Experience a plus. Food a minus Staff, doing their best Bartender - was a mover and a Shaker was definitly on their A game.
